possibly try jeans with embrodery friller tops flats/heels and you can do simple things like acsessories to help update an old look! _________________

You can change one specific thing about your outfit like shoes, or maybe wear a skirt sometimes. Maybe some more girly tops? Some cute spring/summery tops? _________________

skirts occasionally, ballet flats, long necklaces, girlier colours, v-neck t-shirts with lacey trim (flattering and girly), capris, layering.
those are all of my ideas for now, i'm like you--i wear t-shirts and jeans too much! _________________

I'm a jeans-and-tshirt girl too, lol. Well, jeans-tshirt-and-hoodie
I think a pair of comfy ballet flats (in a classic colour if you want) will take you a long way:

A handy dandy skirt worn every so often:
(not necessarily this colour, lol)
(not necessarily a miniskirt but denim is always a nice staple)
and some pretty tops:
and some accessories if you want but they're not "essential"
hope that helped a bit! i grabbed those pics off joe.ca and guess.ca just to give you an idea, i'm sure you know what you like/want to buy! go have fun! _________________

Heels
Ballet Flats
Jewelry (Big Beads, long necklaces, pretty bracelets etc)
Girly Tops
Skirts
Pink
You could also wear scarfs or headbands on your head. |

Def go with fashion tops over jeans and flats/heels.
Or legging with a long shirt or casual mini-dress.
Add acesssories! Even if you are wearing a plain coloured t shirt, add bangles (wooden, plastic ones are nice), long necklaces, handbands.
If you have a V neck tee shirt, wear a shorter silver necklace with maybe a locket or something cute.
Layered looks good as well. A simple tshirt can be taken to the next level just by wearing a tank underneath. _________________

I have not read everyones post but here are some ways to update the "Jeans and tee shirt" look:
-Straight leg jeans with a darker wash are more current and look more fashionable and polished then lighter, flared jeans
-A simple thing like substituting some cute ballet flats will make your outfit more girly and current. Here is an example from Urban Outfitters:
-Buying a cute lacy camisole is very versitile, you can wear it over a white beater or by itself with some straight leg jeans and ballet flats when its warm. Or, even a plain zipper hoodie over it will look nice and contrasting when the weather is a bit cooler. Here is a nice one from Abercrombie:
-Accsessories like a long pendant necklace looks nice with a white tee shirt and jeans, and also look nice with a cami. Here is one from Aldo:

Whenever you go shopping, look at everything. If it stands out to you and you like it, get it, even if it's not something you'd normally wear.
And when your getting dressed in the morning ask yourself, what would look good with this top or these jeans instead of putting on the same thing. |

Well on the site they say $20, which I am assuming is US prices. I would say maybe $30 here in Canada? But that strictly a guess |

agreed! accessories or a hot pair of shoes will make you more girly and you can still wear the t-shirt and jeans!
I'm dying to get a pair of leopard print heels. I love crazy shoes =) |

i'm definitely like you, and i think that recently i've started to get more "girly" i guess. haha. i would suggest:
- flats, cause they're soo comfortable and cute. lots of brands have sneaker-style flats too (like keds)
- layering! you can layer pretty much anything and everything, tank tops...skirts over leggings, sheer shirts, etc. etc.
- dressing up jeans, either with a cute top or nice shoes!
just have fun with it, and i think that making sure that you feel good and confident in whatever you're wearing is key. good luck |
