^Agreed. Small doses is good-like a tank with dark jeans or as flats. I have a pair of glittery copper flats that are really cute (as long as I wear a plainer top/jeans)

I feel like it's already been done in like 2000-2002, when everyone was all like omg the millenium the y2k were all going to die and stuff.

I find it looks cool, like aesthetically intriguing, but as clothes on a human, it's just strange because sculptures should be intriguing not clothes.

I don't like it at all. I hate shiny things and especially gold.

^Yea, I agree. The flats and purses look cool but nothing else.

^ Lol, that reminds me of my english teacher. We had academy one day (it's every other Wednesdays at our school where for one block, you take something interesting e.g. guitar, knitting, card games etc etc) and she does yoga so she had a yoga class. She had one these bright metallic green and pink leggings. One leg was green, one leg was pink.

I only like metallics in very small doses, like cute flats, or a belt or accesories.

When people wear too much at once it's like...overloaddd.

I've been seeing that one D&G picture everywhere. Especially in Elle. I can't find it on the net, though.

I agree that it's tolerable in small doses but I think it looks like a 1970's depiction of what the future would look like, with flying cars and stuff.
I'm all for a metallic headband, flat, or bag but not this whole futuristic thing.

well I saw this really nice metallic green top cameron diaz was wearing
with a pair of black skinny jeans.
it actually looked nice,
I don't know if i'd pull that off, but if i could
I still woulndn't know if I'd buy it.
I would probably only wear it under 10 times.

I think metallics only look good if they're bags, jewellery, flats, belts, or headbands. And they definetely look better in small doses.

I think it's kind of weird in clothing, but I've also noticed this look with stores. Stores now look really modern or futuristic and are all silver, sleek, and bare. Which I don't really mind.
