I'm going up to Montreal in a week's time and I"m wondering, where do you all think I just HAVE to go. It's a shopping trip and I'll be staying downtown, without a car, so I need places that are easy to get to by metro or bus. I don't want to take too many taxis because that would mean less money to spend on clothes. So, where do I go?
Besides Simons of course. |

yes, all the underground mall, like cours mont-royal and the Eaton's center, wich you can enter from St-Catherine Ouest. And then you can just go from one mall to the other indoors since its warmer that way.
And definitely along St- Laurents street, for really great boutiques.
And also on Saint Catherine street but not in the undergroud malls, there is like Urban Outfitters and if you keep walking you will encounter along the way like fifty two american apparel's.
Alexis- Neon (sp?) is also a good mall, however not as good as all the underground malls, but it is very easy to get to by metro. And from there my metro it is also very esay to get to the undergroud malls.

| I looked up PINK on their website. They seem to have some cute stuff. What's their usual price range? And is their quality good, like it lasts? |

They have pretty good quality stuff. I mean, I have one of their tanks and it's held up for a fairly long time. Some of their stuff is a bit on the tight side though which can be good or bad depending on your size.
The price is not too too bad. 20 dollars for a tank or shirt (on sale), and I'm not sure about the pants.
But yeah, I'd definately recommend the store. |

Sounds good. I'll definitely go check it out. I'll see how tight the clothing is. I don't mind having stuff that's tight, as long as it looks good and not slutty. Or makes me look flat.
I'll check out the underground malls as well. IT all sounds good. I"m pretty exited to go! Is the Holt Renfrew and Ogilvy's good over there? |

ogilvys = super awesome. I found the salespeople to be pretty nice/friendly (well most), and I got my MJ bag there on sale so super yay. LOL. I didn't see too much selection there in terms of high-end denim and stuff (I just went a few weeks ago) but they were having sales on shoes (if you're between a size 6 and 10, you are lucky!)
holt renfrew = not so much, didn't see too much i liked in terms of bags (although at this point, i wasn't looking for a bag so i didn't pay too much attention) but they had a nice selection of jeans. the tops were ehh, lol. there were tons of discounted jeans on sale too (if you're standing in the middle, where the "denim wall" is on your left, check the right side of the contemporary section on the racks, you'll find tons of discounted jeans - paige, tr mostly - priced from $115 to $130 I think. I mostly saw sizes 25-32.) |
