lol yeah I heard about this. I was kind of shocked actually. She's come a long way from the Mickey Mouse Club..I never would've imagined her shaving her head. It was so "out there" and random. It's like she's trying to be someone she's not.

I miss the old Britney Spears.
I miss how she always caused public outrages because parents thought she was "too sexy" and a "bad role model" for their kids.
I miss how she's not a pop-star any more, just fodder for the tabloids.
I wish that her and Justin would get back together.
I really want her to make a comeback.

publicity stunt? I think it's just to keep her in the limelight. She's probably losing money because of the K-Fed goldigger fellow, disgusting. Maybe she thinks she'll get some interviews with people where they'll pay her big money to see whatsup with her? Idk, just a guess.

Papers say that she just checked into rehab today.
...didn't really read the rest of the story on that one.

There's been some speculation by some of the "pros" that one of the reasons why she had a breakdown was not only due to the seperation from KFed, but also due to the recent death of one of her (favourite? not sure) aunts.

On the radio (the beat) today, they said that britney shaved her head because of kFed. he threatened to have her hair tested for drugs so he could have full custody of the children and she got mad so she just shaved off all her hair. but then they said that he's trying to buy her hair thats for sale now to still have it tested.

Her performance was auful. She looked like she didn't want to be there. Not only did she lip syncd she did it SO badly. She couldn't dance and her extensions were awful. Honestly I wanted her to be good........but it really wasn't. And now the media is ripping her to shreads!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd really love for her to make a comeback because I do think she's talented, and it would be nice if she could find a way for people to recognize her for her singing talent and not her personal life. And yesterday's performance at the VMA's was not the comeback I was hoping for. Her lip syncing was so bad..you could tell because she was off. And the dancing wasn't that great either..she had absolutely no energy and it seemed kinda messy..like it wasn't rehearsed well. I really expected more since she used to be such a good performer. But I do like the song!

yeah i just read that she was out partying the whole week before the award show... like, if she really wanted it, wouldn't she be in the studio rehersing and maybe learning the song so she could, at the very least, be able to actually lip sync it properly?

yeah i was really hoping to be blown away by something pretty amazing, but i kind of think she did exactly what everybody expected. it looked like her whole performance was thrown together in an hour and she'd never even rehersed...

still, i would like to see her get her act together.

I really wish that Britney could go back to her old self. Her songs then rocked (and actually had meaning) and I still listen to those.
I like her new song, Piece of Me though. I think that her song's lyrics are good because they express how people really are to her. I mean, if ordinary people does what she did, no one would give a hoot. But because she's a celebrity, people are constantly following her to catch what she does wrong so they can make fun of her.

i just watched the official video for "piece of me" Definatly better than the video for gimme more, she actually danced..and looked pretty good. Whether it was totally photo shopped or not whatever haha.
Love the song though...i really do hope she eventually pulls it together, deep down i still adore her!
