@Amortentia-xo: You could wear a plain white tee underneath, and if you want, you could layer a cardigan on top (though you might be hot). Try layering on some funky gold chain necklaces and wear the dress with flats, flip flops, or leather braided sandals to dress it down.

What shoes should I wear with this dress? I wearing it to my brothers graduation dinner (fairly formal) and also my grad (a little less formal). I am wearing it with a wide brown leather belt under the bust. I want something that isnt too hard to walk in but a heel is fine. Preferably no flip flops or open toed shoes (I dont like my feet haha ). Thanks.

I like the idea of the leather belt, but I might not wear it to the more formal event. Maybe a metallic belt instead? Anyways, the sandals I found, in brown with the brown belt, or white for a more formal look.

^ For shoes, flats look good with skinny jeans, also heels, pointy ones or kitten heels. And a dress top can be wear with white, any colour looks good with white. A tunic would work as well. If you want a more casual look, a vintage look, plain or graphic tee looks good with it. Def try out different things and decide what looks the best!

White will look good with almost anything. It will balance out the bold colors. You bould also go for a chic little black and white outfit. Tunics are also a good idea, because you're talking about skinny jeans. I wouldn't do completely white though, but that's just me.

Hey.. What to wear with a red dress? It's for prom.. It's been narrowed down to gold, silver, or black? It's not a deep deep red, yet not a bright red.. However I'd say its more of a darkshade of a bright red? Very confusing :S (Not maroon though) Help!! Sad

Even though I know you don't own any oversize belts, it would look very good belted in. Maybe you have a skinny belt you could use? Or if you don't, you could always use either ribbon or thick cord as an alternative. An oversize belt might be a good investment though.

@jousy: You do not look pregs! That dress looks great on you. Since you don't have any oversize belts, try a normal belt (it doesn't have to be oversize). Any belt will do the same job of defining the waist. You could also try layering on some long necklaces to add some depth to the overall look.

^ Heels/flats would look good with that dress. I think you should bring a little clutch and not a big huge oversized bag. For the jewelry, silver or good anything would look good.

I'm going to my school's graduation as well but I have to usher. I have to wear back top and black pants/skit with "comfortable" shoes. I want to look good as well so should I wear flats? And how about for jewelry? I don't want to overdo it though.

^i think you should wear flats.++ for the jewelry since you dont want to over-do-it, i'd say just wear one piece of jewelry that sticks out but still goes with the outfit..i.e. sometimes i borrow my sisters skull ring just to add a touch to a very boring outfit or sometimes i wear this gold sneaker pendent necklace and it just adds a touch of what you need most for a perfect outfit..hope that helps :]

If you were looking for something that you can wear alot afterwards than go with a black pair because they are more versatile.

^That's a gorgeous dress! I think a stilettos in gold or bronze would look really glamorous and nice with that dress since it would bring out the rich blue colour. Silver stilettos would be nice too, but I'd prefer gold or bronze.

I think it depends on how tall you are. If you have long legs, a short hemline plus stilettos may be a little much. Especially if you're dancing after, you would want something you could move easily in. I would say go for flats
