Not exactly "computer help" (I think the forum should be renamed to "Computers" or something).

I recently customized my desktop with a bunch of stuff.

- StyleXP with the PristineOS visual style applied to it, with start bar at top at 20% transparency.
- ObjectDock on the bottom with customized icons.
- Thoosje's Vista Sidebar with the clock, weather display, computer resource monitor, and C:drive space monitor gadgets.

I'm running WindowsXP SP2.

Has anybody else done this sort of thing to their desktop/computer?

^whoops. Yeah. I changed the place of where the pic was located... you should see it now Happy

Though... it's been a few months since I had my desktop like that.
Now I have a cleaner desktop, without such a "busy"-looking wallpaper, I took out the sidebar because I didn't get as much use out of it as I thought I would. But I do still have the pristineOS themestyle as well as ObjectDock at the bottom (got it on autohide). I also got a new monitor.

This is what my desktop looks like now:
My resolution is set at 1680x1050... but I've had to resize this picture down to 800x500 just to get it to fit ok on this forum.

ive got vista so all that comes with the OS. The sidebar is pretty useless though. I turned off transparency because it sacrificed legibility and wasted RAM.
