) but blending was really frustrating and it still is. =/

Bustin' out the colour (it's been a LONG time).
(just the eyes this time)

Today I'm not putting much effort in, just MAC Eye Kohl in Teddy which I put on before I went to class.

Yesterday:
- MAC Eyeshadow in Mulch
- MAC Eyeshadow in Mystery [brows, outer corners of lids]
- MAC Fluidline Eyeliner in Blacktrack [top lid, outer part of lower inner rim]
- Maybelline Full n Soft
- MAC Eye Kohl in Teddy [inner part of lower inner rim]

Day before yesterday:
- MAC Eyeshadow in Coppering [wash]
- MAC Eyeshadow in Nocturnelle [crease and outer corners]
- MAC Fluidline Eyeliner in Macroviolet [top lid, outer part of lower inner rim]
- MAC Eyeshadow in Mulch [just below the lower lashes]
- MAC Eyeshadow in Mystery [brows only]

Day before the day before yesterday [lol]:
- MAC Fluidline in Shade [a thick smudgey line on the upper lid]
- MAC Eyeshadow in Swimming [on top of Shade, to turn it into a forest-y green colour since I don't like the way Shade looks on it's own]
- MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack [tightlined, both top lid and inner rim of bottom]
- MAC Eyeshadow in Mystery [brows only]

quick question:
how do you determine what eyeshadow colours look good on you?
like , its kind of hard to try on eyeshadows, i want to splurge on some nice eyeshadows but im scared of buying them and then realizing they don't look good on me, i guess i could try them on my hand or something but i find that that hasn't really worked for me

^^Trying on makeup is like trying on clothes though... I guess it's kind of a pain in the ass sometimes Icon_XP

but it's necessary... the whole "go outside in real daylight" rule is actually pretty important. I suppose you can put a primer/base of some sort of your hand before trying on the shadow so you get the true colour, then go outside and see if you still like it.
And then there's the skintone rule. Unfortunately I don't know what skin tones go well with what, except pale people should wear pearlescents and olive skin looks good with greenish golds... XD

-MAC eyeshadow in Swimming Lustre for 3/4 of my eye
-Annabelle eyeshadow in... pink for the inner part of my eye
-Rimmel Exaggerate in brown for the bottom eyelid
-No7 mascara in black.

Plus foundation. Crappy stuff.
