Ahh!! And it's not just those brands. I know this girl who's grade three and she was wearing an American Eagle jacket that I have! You have no idea how embarrassing it is to wear something that someone seven years younger than me is wearing! And anyways, American Eagle is made for youth, not little kids! Also, I posted this somewhere else before but the little girl I saw wearing a shirt from French Connection that says "Fcuk me"...I mean, c'mon parents, that is not appropriate for a 3 year old to be wearing! _________________ used to be 'sw33tlilhugz' on the old f18. euh... you're telling me
I find that just... disgusting.
even though this girl is two years younger than me
she started shopping at american eagle when she was 10!
yeah, she's tall for her age. but stick to gap and old navy like we did! _________________

): That happens to me too. I'll get this really great thing and be feeling on top of the world, then I'll see some little fashionista wearing it too. Not only is it embarrassing, it's lame. When I was their age, I didn't care what I wore. I even wore my pjs to school sometimes!
Speaking of French Connection, I must add that I find those shirts with "Too busy to Fcuk" and "Lucky Fcuk" written on them atrocious. They were really big a couple years back, so luckily, they've died down now.. but I do spot them sometimes in the halls. *shudder* _________________

I hate it when girls were only leggings and a top, they do it all the time at my school, and not a long top, like one with a normal length!!
It looks sooooooo bad!!!!!!!!!! |

Wearing tank tops in -20C weather. These three girls from my class do it all the time. I mean, are you not cold?? Our homeroom is in a portable, and they go out like that. They also wear flats when it's seriously snowing outside. Someone asked one of them if she was cold, and she replied "Yes, I'm freezing! But I don't want to wear my sweater with this shirt." They also wear like black bras under white or light coloured shirts that are pretty see-through, with nothing else underneath. All the guys call them skanks though, haha.
I also don't like leggings very much.. especially if they have silver stars going down the sides. |

Okay so probably every other person mentioned this, but i'm gonna start off with CROCS, they are absolutely hideous, they are okay for old people, just because they're so comfortable or so others say [i've never tried them on]. I'd never ever wear those, i'd be too embarassed.
Leggings are okay but not everyone can pull off the leggings as pants look. It's disturbing how so many girls at my school wear them, and i'm sorry but most of them are not skinny, more on the chubby side. What's up with all these not thin girls wearing leggings with normal shirts[stick to longer ones at least]?
I've seen these girl wearing these black leggings and they were soo tight that they looked literally transparent and you could see her pink undies. And seriously, girls with cellulite especially, that's just nasty.
And yes, i'm gonna have to agree with you all. I hate how 7 year olds wear abercrombie, hollister or whatever.. as well as older people.. Ive seen this old grandpa like 70 years of age walking around in abercrombie shirt, ughh.
I work at hollister and seriously.. ive noticed how soo many parents come with their little 7 year old kids and go like "Where's your kid section?" Theres NO kids section, get it straight.
"I bought a shirt for my son but it happens to be too big, can i get a smaller size?"NO, that's the smallest size, hopefully GAPKIDS will carry the right size that would be just perfect for your son.
And honestly i see soo many 10 year old girls shopping there, and head to toe covered in tna, a&f and hollister.. the hoodie is probably 2 sizes too big.. but who cares, right? it's TNA!!
Another thing that bothers me so much.. girls/ladies/women please wear a bra under your shirts or whatever. I've seen this 45 year old lady at the mall, wearing a white beater.. with NO bra underneath! And the beater is practically transparent. Oh my eyes.
Head to toe covered in one color. That's just hideous. Your shoes don't have to match with your purse, and your shirt does not have to match with your shoes and purse. And your skirt does not have to be exact same color as your top. Oh my goodness.
And i just hate when people wear pink everyday. Pink as in the color pink.
Okayy so i'm done for now. Sorry about my grammar and all.

^ i agree with EVERYTHING you just said!
when i was like 10 or whatever, i wore old navy! I never even THOUGHT of shopping at ae or whatever.. now all these little grade 5's are walking around with the same stuff as me, and they think they are like soo cool, when the clothes are obviously waaay to big for them.
also, STITCHES! I HATE stitches. the clothes are so ugly and cheap.. and I hate when those "poor-type people" (no offence) buy everything from there, and then think they are so cool. (when i say "poor-type people" i mean like, the people who seem like they should just shop at Wal-Mart) (No OFFENCE!)
also, the whole "wearing pjs" to school thing-- you don't have exams or anything, and you arn't at home. Get Dressed!
and yeah, basically everything mentioned in this whole topic.
Okay, I'm done. _________________

oh, and i forgot one thing!
i know this isn't really a "trend"
but the whole "wearing a thong just to stick the straps out to show everyone you're wearing a thong" is really ANNOYING.
people wear them and walk around saying "oohh nice straps!"
like, HELLO?! its UNDERWEAR!
Under- as wearing UNDER your clothes.

Well, not everyone can afford AE, TNA, Hollister, etc.. Just because they wear stitches or wal-mart clothing doesn't mean they're poor.
I buy Wal-Mart clothing occasionally... well mostly shoes, bags and accessories but.. I still look good! |

^^so if they couldn't afford what you can, what would you expect them to wear? i've seen some people look pretty decent in stiches clothing. i don't paticularly like their clothing much, but i find that pretty offensive even if you don't mean it. _________________ formerly sugarr

I agree with the three people above. I mean, some people really can't afford to buy more expensive clothes. And just because they buy stuff from those stores doesnt mean that they think they're "so cool". And anyways, it really depends on the outfit they put together from what they buy from either Walmart or Stitches...if they match it well, then it could look even nicer than a designer outfit.
I don't mind that you don't like the store or their clothing styles but I think that it's really offending calling those people "poor-type people". Though I don't really shop at those stores for clothes, I'm one of the people who doesnt have that much money either because I don't come from a rich family like many other more fortunate people do in the world. _________________ used to be 'sw33tlilhugz' on the old f18. Ok without reading any of the trends listed:
i really hate purses and stuff from guess. i just find all the shiny shiznat and leathery patterns and hugeness reallly tacky! maybe it's just me?
i don't really have a big issue with trends. i have to say, crocs are godawful but supposedly comfy (i've never tried), so i mean, whatever floats your boat i guess! i don't really hate any trends, i think it's more a matter if it flatters you or not, and if it's overdone or not. when it's overdone that's when you say BE ORIGINAL! and generally trends areee overdone. so you've gotta use it as a base and jazz it up yourself!
BTW, that vest looks like the one mclovin wore
to look older ! hah _________________

^I think it depends. Sometimes it can be classic. I think the Louis Vuitton Monogram is classic, but it can be overdone because of all the fakes going around. I still do prefer the Damier pattern myself, however.
The pattern that is starting to bug me is the Coach pattern. I see it so much, it's starting to get annoying. _________________

^^^ I think the Damier one is really nice, and not all out there and tacky. that's how purses should be!

| I dont like alot of the patterned designer bags myself. But I wouldnt say I hate them. I just think when it comes to designer stuff its stupid to wear fakes. There are so many nice purses out there that our reasonably priced, why bother pretending! We all know its fake! |

I TOTALLY agree with what everyone said, especially:
guess purses (so ugly)
PJs at school, (you don't know how many people do this at my school!!!)
I also dislike when girls were super fancy high heels to school. I mean what's the point other than to put your feet through horrible pain. I love high heels but there are not for school!
Also boots with fur (hideous) |

I think Gucci is more tacky than Guess purses lol. Some are overdone but many are nicely designed.
I think that as long as they are happy with what they bought, why are we bothering them right...I used to be the kind of ppl who only look for "deals" and shop at Stitches and Walmart..but right now there is a more variety in my closet cuz I try diff brands and know that more often than not, price = quality. |

1) I LOVE CROCS. I don't feel influenced by all of the croc haters to not wear them.
I think they're great to wear them to volleyball before I change shoes.
I've worn them to school once or twice and I could care less if people laugh at me.
2) I agree with the guess bags. I'm not a big fan of them. they're just not my style.
3) I only wear pj's to school when I feel absolutely lazy/sick/tired. but that's not all the time and they're just striped/plaid, never cute animal printed ones.
4) hey, you could be living in a million dollar home in west vancouver and still like sirens.
I'm not trying to bite your head off. but shops are for everyone.
anyway, for some reason, I'm not a big fan of it...
I guess I'm too high maintenance.
5) once again, I loathe the sight of girls wearing pumas, ae, hollister, a&f, lululemon, tna.
I just want to scream at them to go back to old navy and gap.
what next, they're be shopping at holts in middle school? geez...
6)yeah, I was one of those people who wore logos stiched all over the shirt, but since I'm growing out of that, it still bugs me seeing other people wear a plain blue tee with hollister in big bold letters. _________________

TNA bags
I have seen every colour/style variation possible at my school. 4 girls in my int'l business class have those bags.
one time during lunch my friends and i decided to count how many we saw, and we stopped at about 25.
they're so massive and bulky.. i got hit by one in my shoulder. so maybe im biased. _________________

^25 is NOTHING compared to my school. I think like over half of all girls have them. Seriously... it's REDONKULOUS.
Today I saw a girl with a grey tna-logoed hoodie, the same colour/pattern in the TNA speedy bag, grey tna pants, a tna scarf, a tna jacket.
It was absolutely absurd, I almost burst out laughing on the school bus. _________________
