Downside of your day?

i got REALLY bad cramps today. baaah Sad

and i couldnt go home from school because i had science last block and i really needed to work on a project with my friend

and

downside of tomorrow cause i already know its coming but im gonna get totally bitched out by my parents cause report cards are coming home tomrorow Sad

i heard that there is going to be a earthquake where i live on april 23rd...supposedly an 8 point one on the richter scale and it'll probably cause a tsunami and drown us all....><"(i live in Richmond which is below sea level)....i know they say it all the time and really no one can predict an earthquake so to hear that it'll be this magnitude on this specific day sounds kinda unbelievable....but it's still scary to hear about it....

^oh my gosh, i've been freaking out about the earthquake since last year. I remember when it was supposed to be last year april but somehow, the earthquake got postponed to this year april. I was hoping that maybe we could just have a bunch of tiny earthquakes throughout the year instead of an insanely big one but I guess that probably won't happen. Sad

Where did you hear it from?

^ well it's not a really reliable source cuz i heard it from a fd which i think she heard it in geography class or something.... so it wasn't on the news or anything i think....i knew last year's was postponed but i didn't remember which month...so now that you're saying it's april and my fd is saying april...then omg it might just be april!!!! ><"

^ahh! I'm terrified! I keep thinking like what if everyone that I know dies and I'll be all alone and the only survivor...or that buildings will fall down on top of me and I'll die a slow and painful death. Icon_nervous

And there were talks about the tsunami last year too and it's just so scary to hear about it because it keeps bringing memories of the Thailand tsunami back. Sad

i remember when i was in grade 7, we studied tsunamis and i couldn't sleep at night because i was so scared it would happen in vancouver. but i got over that.

but now im scared. i really hope it doesnt happen

wow, thats really scary. im actually always scared of natural disasters, esepcially after watching The Day After Tomorrow , haha

Downside of my day is that I have to work tomorrow and I realized that spring break is almost over and I have to go back to school on monday.

i'm actually not so scared of the earthquake itself but more like the tsunami that would come along with it.... my fds and i were predicting how high the water level would be if it actually came.... well it sucks for me cuz i can't swim >< but dan the water that does come would be so cold that ppl who CAN swim would probably freeze to death anyway....

I think that for the earthquake, I'm going to prepare myself for it by always bringing a sweater to school and always keeping water, a juicebox, and granola bars in my schoolbag. And also a scarf, maybe mittens, money, a flashlight, and bandages in my bag. haha I sound so paranoid. Confused

^oh no, don't worry about it! (: I was actually really scared of it even before you mentioned it here and probably would've been paranoid anyways (because of all the reports about it last april.)
Hmm, I think that I would rather know about the earthquake ahead of time though so I can at least be prepared and know what to expect. If I didn't know and all of a sudden there was an earthquake, I would probably freak out at that moment, which would make the whole situation even worse.

Okay...now onto my downsides of the ~~day~~ week:
1) guys! i'm so confused right now.
2) my church. it's so stupid how they changed/are changing everything (especially since most people don't even like it) so now, i don't even want to go. i used to love going but now, i dread going, even if my friends will be there.

I dropped my mp3 player yesterday..on carpet though, but it ripped the headphones out of the jack i guess it's called and now you have to put pressure back and to the right for sound to come out the left ear. lol way to go steph. i figure if i drop it again the other way it will be back to normal...

It is so depressing here, there's snow on the ground! the trees are dead. I miss everything about France, it was so amazing. And I feel sick, plane rides are horrible. The whole trip went by so fast. I don't want to go back to school, I want to go back to France! Sad

The interview was kind of a waste. I decided I didn't want the job before I even went to the interview, but went to anyway. So that killed like an hour since it was across the city and then I had to wait for my dad to pick up groceries too.
