I booked two makeup appointments with both Benefit and Clinique for my grad pictures, but I don't know which one is better. I'm looking for a really simple, clean, polished look, really natural, but i dont know which one i should cancel! (i took both just in case!)
anyways my pics are on monday, so any advice would be appreciated!!! thanks |

When I went to Clinique, I can honestly say that I wasn't very impressed. I don't think that they understood that I was 17, and they just didn't give me what I wanted. It wasn't for grad or anything, it was just a consultation, though. And that said the Clinique products are good, and mine might have been an isolated incidence, and I know nothing about Benefit. _________________

It really depends on the makeup artist you get. But since you wouldn't know who anyway, if you want a clean, polished look, I think you should go with Clinique. I actually prefer Benefit though but their products seem to be more colourful and...shimmery I guess? That's just my general impression.
Oh..this post might be too late so I hope you were able to pick one! |

| I like clinque, i think there stuff is clean and light. I used the linque superbalanced makeup. I like it cause it's light , looks natural and doesnot dry out my skin but it doesn't have a lot of coverage like other foundations. |

I would choose Clinique but as sweety said it really depends on the Makeup artist. Really let her/him know which specific look you want. _________________

| I've never actually heard of benefit, but my favs are clinique and mac, but sometimes clinique treats you like a kid and theyre like, o well u probably dont wear makeup at all do you, and they talk to you like ur 10. However I love theyre skin care line and almost all of my makeup is from there. |

^ hm well, I went to DT Bay in Vancouver (where I am) and were just browsing around the counters and the ladies at the Benefit one were really nice and asked if my friends and I would like to try some of their products on and I said sure. She asked me what I wanted to try on and I just looked at anything and said the Hoola (bronzer), the lady let me try that on along with other things like mr. frosty, moon beam, that brow thing so a sun - kissed look. I liked how they put together a look for me. I didn't pay for it.
At the Richmond center one, they weren't as nice and didn't ask if I wanted to try on anything but that's probably because I was with younger girls, my mom's friend's daughters. _________________
