so, dandruff shampoos aren't so great. head and shoulders puts tar in their shampoo, so it tars the dead skin (dandruff) down to you scalp.

so, here's the tip, just buy a softening shampoo to relieve your dandruff.

and also scratch your scalp with your nails!
and I always put shampoo on my eyebrows and scratch it too so I don't get dandruff there either.

All I've heard about Pantene Pro-V is that it contains a looooooooot of wax. That's why it makes your hair so "shiny and smooth". If it actually has nail polish remover in it, that's disgusting and a tad scary.. haha!

Actually what Pantene does is badly damage your hair with harsh detergents (shampoo) then cover it up with a coat of silicone (conditioner)...So it's shiny and soft, but the actual hair is all brittle and broken under.

That's why they say: healthy looking hair, and not healthy hair

Confused

^Hair can't actually be healthy. I learned that in English. Healthy describes something living, and hair isn't alive.

My friend got this brush for dandruff. The bristles are covered with copper and apparently when it oxidizes the copper helps the stuff that causes dandruff. She used it and said it works for her so.

I rememeber reading that you shouldn't scratch your scalp. It was saying how when you wash your hair you should be using your fingertips, not your nails. I think what they were talking about had more to do with having oily hair... but... still not good to scratch?
