No, as long as you credit your sources. However I'd ask your teacher first if that is allowed because when I made a cell we had to use our ~own creative ideas~.

No, it would be like if someone used E.B. White's (the dude who wrote Charlotte's Web) The Elements of Style. You can't put it in you're Work's Cited, so no. If you had to have a bibliography (which cites all of the sources you used, even if you didn't cite them, then maybe you would have to contribute it. But if you just have a work's cited, which is made up of the sources of the information that wasn't general knowledge to build up your essay or paper, then no.

But this is not plagerism, it's just getting help from something other than a handout from your professor/teacher.

Like everyone else said, I don't think this is plagiarism either. Because as long as you're not saying that you thought this up all by yourself, its okay. But I guess to make sure if it's okay, ask your teacher if he/she is fine with it. It sounds (and looks) like a totally cool project though; good luck! Cool

No, it wouldn't be. It is kinda just like doing research anyways. Plus, like Angelino. said it is a craft-like thing.

That looks like fun! I don't think it is (well you probably already handed it in). But you could always like change candies. You don't necessarily have to do what they say. Or you could use a peach instead of a plum Happy

You always know when a teacher gives a cell assignment out at my work, cause kids and parents raid the bulk candy, their assignment handout in the basket as a guideline

It's not plagiarism if you credit the source. If you use the idea and DON'T credit, then it's plagiarism.

I've had this idea drilled into my head ever since I started university. It gets to you. hahaha

late update buuut we decided to do a cake instead, and we got 88% so im pretty happy with that

^yes i've heard terrible stories of students who plagerize and i would die if it ever happened to me (accidentally) cause i would never purposely plagerize
