before i start i'd like to say i'm using my friend's account(thanks Elle)
hi, my friends and i were really inspired by every speaker at the the ricoh coliseum on friday for me to we day.
we happened to have found a lot of useless, oversized and cheap t-shirts in each others colsests. we want to remake them and sell them so all the profits will go to the unfortunate children of the world. we would like to ask the talented and mature fashion18 forum members for any ideas about how we can make them fab.

Lots of hopes and thank yous,

VC

aw this is such a great thing that you guys are doing !

you can string beads, iron-on stencils, use fabric paint, strand pearls(fake of course), put bows on them...there are a ton of things that you could do with a plain white tshirt
you could cut them into different styles, like make it scoop necked or off the shoulder

maybe you could make up some phrases like the "get your freak on giles deacon" etc shirts by henry holland? i think that'd be cute. i'm sorry i can't be of much help with giving you any ideas of rhyming phrases, but i think that people really like shirts like that right now, and especially since you're are for a good cause. this is a great thing you guys are doing and i'm sure the keilburg brothers would be proud to know that you have been inpsired and are making a difference.

this is so nice of you guys. now listen,

you need to buy the book generation t by megan nicolay. you can find it at places like chapters and indigo and i think its about 20 bucks. it lists 108 ways to reconstruct an old tshirt with really easy instructions. ive reconstructed tons of old things and theyre adorable! people would definitely buy them.
