I am so stressed. Too many things are going on. I got sick a few weeks ago and missed nearly a week of school. I got put on the same antibiotic as when I caught pneumonia back in June. And then at the beginning of the month, my aunt was in the emergency room for a few days. She got an infection from a cut in her foot, and when we went to visit her, her feet were swollen really bad. My mom called earlier and said that when my aunt went for her annual check-up, they found out that she has a cyst in her kidney and there's something wrong with her liver.
And my grandmother's been in the hospital since last Wednesday. I'm so scared for her, I really hope she's okay. First the doctors thought she had pneumonia and angina, but they found out that it was just angina. Though if she's not treated properly, she could develop pneumonia. I hope she doesn't, it would be so hard for her to recover from that. When my mom called, she said that the doctors found out that my grandma has more white blood cells than red blood cells and needs a blood transfusion. We last visited her on Saturday, and she looked like she was feeling a bit better. The only thing is, when she moves too fast or walks too far/fast, she has trouble breathing and starts wheezing and having chest pains. I hate seeing her like that. When she first got put in the hospital on Wednesday, I found out that they were asking for her will and last wishes. I keep crying, but I really don't want to think about the negative right now. It's just really hard.
I've also got tons of homework/projects and tests that I need to study for. I'm not feeling that great, either. My mom and sister are feeling sick too. Definitely not a great start to the school year. This was kind of long but I just really needed to get all this out. |

I really hope things get better for you soon.. that is a pretty rough start to a new school year. Your aunt and grandmother are in my thoughts, I'm sure your aunt will recover fine and as well as your grandmother. School is stressful but if you try hard it will definately pay off. Just try to deal through it with your friends, I've definately learned no matter what, you need your friends. Don't worry about long posts, that's what the forums here for
Good luck with everything _________________ aka;

Aww mann... that really sucks. I hope your aunt will be okay and so will your grandma, and don't forget that there's always going to be F18 here if you need to let it out. If it helps I had a horrible week two weeks ago... I don't even want to think about it. I was so extremely stressed with schoolwork, volleyball, and work and I just broke down and cried for like an hour at my volleyball tournament in front of like 100 people. It was so bad, not to mention humiliating. October really does suck. I really hope the rest of the month will be better for both of us. _________________

thanks I've got a ton of homework this weekend plus two tests on Monday, argh! And we found out that there's also something wrong with my grandma's liver.. my mom told me earlier that the doctors were saying that she may not be able to go home, and that she'd probably have to stay in a nursing home. I really miss her, I hope she turns out fine but I know how hard things are for her since she is 87. And I recently found out that she and my aunt had Hepatitis B before, and that she'd had a stroke. I can't believe this.. it's a lot to handle at the moment. :icon_wrong: |
