Suggestions on how to dress down the....

I love the sweater dress with boots combo but it always seems too fancy for just a regular day. Anyone have suggestions on how to dress it down?

^wear the dress with leggins + uggs.
it depends on what kind of boots. it's not possible to "dress down" if u want to wear them with high heeled boots...cuz that'll be intentionally dressing it up.
u can tone down the dress by pairing with...flats...casual boots and sneakers maybe?

But I'd say wear it with some more casual flats and some more casual jewelry. And pick a dress that's really simple so you could easily change it up.

i guess it depends on what kind of boot. but i wouldnt wear uggs with a sweater dress..i think it would look kinda tacky (imo). the booties would look good probably or if your a converse fan dress it down with converse. and flats are always a possible choice.

Layer it a lot - maybe wear a long sleeve shirt underneath and some necklaces.
I really like to wear a plain gray AA hoodie on top of fancy things to make them look more casual - it actually looks good. And it works.
Also, if you wanted you could wear leg warmers with the dress and flats

I think a sweater dress would look really cute with leggings and ankle booties. I saw a girl wearing a sweater dress with black tights and black boots and it still looked really casual and cute at the same time, so I think that it really depends on the type of boot you were thinking of.

Maybe flats or more casual accesories. Depending on the dress a pair of tight/leggings could make it look more casual.

hmm, maybe you could wear skinny jeans underneath your dress? i think it would still look nice, kinda like a dress, but kinda like a regular sweater too. the jeans would make it look more casual and would look good with your boots.

and really simple accessories(like jewellery and handbag). nothing too fancy.

my friend wore this today..
a beige, cream and brown sweaterdress
brown leggings
and beige boots since the leggins were pretty dark.
it look really nice because she had boots that were a little below knee length and they were flat.
