I really want to learn knitting. I can knit and purl but everytime I tried to do a seed stitch or ribbing, it turns out into a horrible blob T_T! And I just don't know what else I'm doing wrong. I learned it from a book so I don't have anyone to show mee. I only know one person who knows how to knit and she's busy all the time.

I don't know where to go for lessons and so on... x_x feel so stuck.

i love knitting! i learnt how to knit from someone teaching me...but then i completely forgot after because i didnt knit for about a year. so i just went online searching how to knit and techniques of it and now i know how again...i had to go to a few different sites in order to really know how to knit but it really helps if the sites you go to have pictures following the instructions too. so definitely try to look online for help first since its free!
and just a small tip that helped me when i kept messing up when i was purling: make sure you put the yarn string to the front of the knitting needle before you purl and behind the knitting needle when you just knit. i hope you understand what i just said because my explanation is kinda not very good (i suck at explaining things out!)

Yeahh I finally figured out what that meant!!! Happy i woke up at 4:30AM with a light bulb above my head! xDD

So now I'm seed stitching... xD it takes longer.

I know it's better to learn from a person, but is there an actual good book on it?
