So yesterday I was at Eaton's and I went to the Aritzia there. And I saw the most atrocious sight ever. Yes, that's right TNA backpacks! Honestly, they were SOOOO ugly. I do not know who would pay $65 dollars for them when there are wayyy nicer bags for a better price.

Omg... I can just imagine little fifth and sixth graders going to school with TNA backpacks and thinking they look so cool. Sad

Well, some people will pay anything for the logo. Did they at least look functional and useful? Many pockets, room for binders, etc.?

^^^Actually I'm not sure, I wasn't very thorough while I was looking at it. But they don't seem to be much better than other backpacks out there. I really think I will barf if I see someone wearing/using them or buying them.

I saw someone in my class with one today. She's in grade 12 so it looks a bit kiddish for her IMO but I guess if something is TNA, people will go out and buy it. It was not that big but not small either. The one she had was black with the gray TNA words and the symbol. I think there was a water compartment on each side (zipped), a small compartment and then a big one. That's what I remember, lol. I'm not a huge fan of it especially since it costs like $65 as babiee_nicky mentioned.

Ugh, that is so lame. Obviously people are only buying it for the logo, which sickens me. Why would you spend $65 on a TNA bag when you could get a bag from a company that actually specializes in bags (like Jansport) which would be much better quality and probably cheaper.

Wow $65 for a TNA backpack?
Was it canvas material... like all the other TNA bags?
Canvas gets dirty easily and is hard to clean =\

Won't be long before this starts hitting my school...
Anyone know if they have them at all locations, or just specific ones?

oh godd I saw those
it reminds me of this backpack my brother had
it was made from like, the same material
and the bottom ripped and all of my brother's stuff fell out.
I'd drop to the floor laughing if that happened to someone in my school.
not to sound mean or anything.
but there are a lot of grade 8 newbies that will kill to have the newest stuff
like everyoen has the new hollister shirts and you won't believe this.
last year, a few people, like say.. 16 at the most at a tna gym bag.
I bought one over the summer because it was on sale.
this year, i've seen like 5 people with the same one as me
and there are about 70 people in the school now with them!
CRAZYYY
no one in my school has one of those backpacks yet.
but just give it a couple of months.
by january, I won't be surprised to see about 30 people with them

^Yeah I only bought a tna bag because it was on sale. And I've only seen one other person at scool with it. That's actually good seeing as my scchool has almost 2000 students.

Haha, I wanna check these out! Maybe I'll go to Aritzia sometime this week...

But the idea of a TNA backpack is so strange. It's almost as if there's a culture clash going on of some kind. Haha

Yeah, even I have been tempted to get a TNA bag despite my awareness that EVERYBODY has one. I mean, I guess one of the only reasons why I want one now is because:
1) It's on sale.
2) Everybody has them Razz (I'm a sheep sometimes)

I mean, I realize it's only like.. what.. $13-off of the original price (if I remember correctly), but that's still $13 off. But the fact that it's also $35 down the drain is what's keeping me from buying it - aside from the fact that it's not practical for me.

I'm really interested to see the new backpacks, though. Neither the TNA website nor the Aritzia website has a picture of it. I might go down to metro today just to take a look, though. Maybe I'll get a picture of it and put it up here for people to see (and ridicule? ;)_orange ).

Finally saw them today at Eaton. =\ Not the greatest looking backpacks, but it seems like most people are still buying the gym bags... there was a huge line up at around 4:30, and almost every other person in line was buying a gym bag.

I got pictures! They're a bit blurry, though. I tried to take them in a hurry before the salesgirl told me that I couldn't take pictures inside the store... (and my camera kinda sucks).
...but you get the idea.

^Oo thanks for the pictures! I was really curious to see how they'd look. They're actually not that bad... but definitely nothing special. They don't seem like they can hold too much though. There should be at least another compartment in the front because it looks really flat and plain.

^^thanks for the pictures!

and yeah, they dont look as bad as i imagined it to be...its actually pretty decent looking. but personally, i would not be caught wearing that because i just dont like having logos all over something that im wearing. and a front compartment like Lil_PinkBunnie said would be nice too.

come to think of it,
I'm starting to consider that that backpack could fit like,
a little girl inbetween preschool-grade2.
that bags small enough for their needs
I can see a really young mom buying one for her daughter.
I mean, there are girls out there that force their moms to buy them designer brands, so why not?

As I think I mentioned before, they don't look really practical, they're quite small and seem to lack enough pockets...and I think the front is kind of boring. Just all that print! Doesn't like that nice.
