I am not sure if i am imagining things but head and shoulders shampoo make my my hair look awesome. i've used expensive shampoos and conditioners before but they did nothing. the funny thing is with the H&D shampoos i dont even have to use conditioner and my hair always turn out great (i usually have frizzy hard to manage hair!)
has anyone noticed this with H&D? whate are ur thoughts? _________________ www.linked-one.com/cheapchick

I've had this experience too! My dad uses H&S so I used some when my shampoo ran out one night. I was pleasantly surprised at how shiny my hair was! However, I do get some product build-up, making my hair stringy, after using it for more than a week. I had to alternate H&S with Neutrogena's Anti-Residue shampoo to avoid build-up. I've stopped using H&S since but I just thought I'd share that :icon_Happy_1452: _________________

I actually love H&S, sometimes I use it if my head gets itchy or if i have some dandruff but thats like once a month. It makes my hair super soft and shiny but it kinda of has a strong smell so I don't really like that. I guess it depends on the type, I just don't like the scent of the one I have. But it's good. _________________

It's my most important shampoo. My hair gets REALLY oily if I skip a day of washing it. Head and Shoulders gets the oil right out, and it makes my hair dryer. Also, dandruff control =P and I like the refreshing feeling and scent.
The only thing is I usually need conditioner with it or else my hair's not as soft as it could be. But it works better on me than any other shampoo I've used. |

Odd, I haven't had a good experience with H&S. When I was 12 my mom used it all the time, and so I did as well. It was okay for a while, but after a while my head would get really itchy after using it and then it'd get oily the very same day... I switched shampoos, and now I only have to wash my hair every two days to avoid the oilyness.
I think I read somewhere that you can develop resistance to a certain shampoo if you've used the same one for years... so I guess that happened to me. _________________ http://lainiexox.deviantart.com/ |

It's the only shampoo I use, I find it really cleans it well, leave it clean for a few days and of course controls dandruff. I don't have any but it's always good to prevent. =)
I follow it up with a conditioner though, by L'Oreal.

| Well, I dont really have dandruff, my hair is quite the opposite. I find that it gets more greasy than dry. So and last I recall their shampoo kind of smelt funny. I think that if it works for you than go for it. I have seen their commercials and it looks like they have a variety of types and stuff for different hair types, so umm ya. |
