I liked this episode more than last episode. So much superficial stuff happened! Haha excellent tv.

I agree that it was boring. In some ways it seems so much like all the other teen drama shows that are on tv. wasn't it by the creatrors of The OC? Because it seems a little similar. It has a similar plot to some shows and some really typical characters.

It's a pretty good show though. I can see why people would like it. Some of the characters are really cool, like Dan. And there is some pretty intense drama sometimes.

^Totally.

Serena = Marissa, or beautiful, troubled girl
Blair = Summer, or beautiful, bitchy girl (at the beginning of the OC)

Plus we also have drama with the parents, like there was in the OC.

I just hope it doesn't go in the same direction with the non-stop love triangles that keep changing.

ya i'm totally in love with this show!!!! i can't wait till tuesday!!!! ok ya so i've also noticed that Dan is totally hot lol.... i like him the best out of all of them...nate like you all said wasn't dat great in the first episode but after his hair change in the second he looks A LOT better...starting to like him too hehe and i actually don't really like blake lively as serena....she doesn't possess that mysterious essence that serena carries imo...the character that plays blair i think is perfect for the role...except i always imagined her with very long and straight brown hair....probably because of the first book's cover..and jenny just looks totally not right lol...her appearance doesn't really agree with the book...

when i first saw Dan in the show...i thought he looked vaguely familiar and dan it struck me lol....he was in one of the early episodes in What I Like About You....(Season 1 i think) he was one of the workers at Copy That... lol totally random but i thought i would share it with you guys haha....he looks cute there too....he was pretty young back then tho haha

if you have seen RENT im pretty sure the character who plays Dan is in that movie and hes also in John Tucker Must Die..he plays the other Tucker w/ the long curly hair..sorry a bit obsessive :]

all i'm wondering is where vanessa is she is a big part in the book but has yet to show herself in the show!

and the plot lines are different from the books, and jenny looks so off from what i imagined her to be.

eric is supposed to be serena's older brother not her younger brother, haha.

^Yeah they flipped it around. In the novels, Eric is Serena's OLDER brother but in the show, he's her YOUNGER brother.

I really love how in the last episode Jenny became bitchy like Blair and jaded with the upper East Side world, but in a sort of cute way. It grates when she's characterized like the sweet little girl that gets picked on boys and mean girls but doesn't retaliate.
