I'm going on a roadtrip in october and since I'm really excited now, I'm making playlists already.
I want to make a really fun oldies one so if you have any suggestions for songs that'd be great.
So far I have...

Footloose - Kenny Loggins
Whip It - Devo
Lollipop - The Chordettes
Walking on Sunshine - Katrina and the waves
ABC - Jackson 5
Hey Mickey! - The Bangles
What I Like About You - The Romantics
Respect Aretha - Franklin
I Want Candy - Bow Wow Wow
Everybody Have Fun Tonight - Wang Chung

The Beatles! There's a lot by them though... But especially Twist and Shout, Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, I Want to Hold Your Hand, Help!, & Yellow Submarine.

Alot of these listed are not technically oldies (but if you like them, whatever). If they were in the 80s, most likely they aren't.

Beatles is rockafella. But I guess twist and shout is kind of oldies.

get some Steve Miller, CCR, some of the oldies-esque Stones songs (Honky-Tonk Women, Just a Shot Away), tom petty, etc.
