This can be for anyone to ask if they want to know the starting wages of wherever..

I'm wondering what the starting wage at HMV is?

^Do you mean starting wage for your FIRST job?
Because most retail stores usually start at $8 if it's your first job, but if you have previous experience you can usually ask for more (my first job at Shoe Warehouse paid $8, but when I went to Accessorize they gave me $8.50 without me asking)

^Well it would be my second job. I just wasn't sure if they had a specific starting wage that they always started at. I'm considering leaving my job, but I would want to be getting paid equal or more than I already make.
I suppose I could talk about that in the interview?

^When would you discuss that? I wouldn't want to start the job at a lower wage than what I already make.

^in my interview, the interviewer just sorta told me what my starting wage would be and its $8.26/hr. i think its a common question that many would want to know, its not bad if you ask, just make sure you ask it in a way thats doesn't show thats ALL you care and want to know about =P
