I took a beginner's yoga course last year and I enjoyed it so I'm thinking of continuing. I don't really have time to take set classes, so I want to try it on my own.
I plan on using yoga videos and am looking for some basic/beginner ones.
Recommendations?

I think I have one website with some...but I just have to find it.
When I find it, I'll post it up for you.

This one, http://www.yogajournal.com/, is the website that I used a while back. But now that I look back at it, I think that they only give poses.

However, I heard that the next two websites are pretty good for yoga videos/lessons:
www.iyogalife.com/videos/
http://www.yogatoday.com/

Hope it helps!

^Thanks!
I heard about Yoga Journal and there's a set of 3 DVDs that go from beginner to advanced that I'm thinking of trying out.
That iYoga one only has poses, or that's all I saw. I didn't really like through it much. And then other one you posted has longe vids which is great, but I think I'd rather learn off of a DVD.. bigger screen, easier to watch.
But it's reassuring to hear that Yoga Journal is heard of.
I just purchases Basic Yoga for Dummies haha off eBay, and I think I'm going to get the Yoga Journal set as well.

Hey, no prob!
The iYoga thing is kinda weird...when I put it into my website url bar, it leaded me directly to the page with the videos.
But I agree too, learning yoga on DVD is probably way better, not only because of the bigger screen but it's easier not to get distracted.
Good luck with the yoga DVD sets! (:

I have a yoga video and I really like it. Its from lululemon and its really good because it makes you focus and you can use it whether you are a beginner or an expert. Its called Pure and Simple Yoga by Eoin Finn. There is also a section on the DVD where it talks about the diff. positions and it tells you what to do to improve and shows you how to do the poses right. So hope I helped and have fun with your yoga!
