I don't really like shaving because I find that my hair grows back pretty quickly, so I was wondering if anybody has tried any hair removal creams such as Nair Pretty which is supposed to be designed for teenagers.
Is this product safe? And does it really work/ work better than shaving?
thanks guys. _________________

I have some of that stuff.
It's safe. It works. It's better than shaving in some ways. It doesn't make my hair grow all that much slower, it just makes it take an extra day or so before it starts to show.
I just don't like that my hair has to be a little long before I use it. I find that it doesn't work with really short hairs, which I would rather shave since I don't want it to grow out.
As far as delapitory creams go, I prefer Veet over Nair. _________________

I don't like to use delapitories. I tried out Veet a couple of times, but it hasn't worked for me yet. Even if I leave it on for the max. recommended 10 mins. _________________

They really don't work that great. And the bad thing about nair is that most of their products smell really really bad, and the smell is strong so it clings to you _________________

I have never tried it but I am just wondering: Does it hurt when you use it? _________________

They don't hurt. Or, they're not supposed to at least.
You're just supposed to put the cream on, wait a bit, and then rinse/sponge/wipe/whatever it off and the hair's supposed to go with it. _________________

I've used the Spray on one and the cream and it works well. The smell is also a bit more pleasant as far as depilatory creams go(they are fruity scents). It makes my skin soft and it doesn't hurt. I'm not sure if it works better than shaving but I find that my hair is softer when it grows back. My hair is pretty coarse so it grows back fast but for me it does last longer than shaving.
Hope that helps! |

It definitely doesn't hurt.
The only time I've ever had it hurt was when I did it on my upper lip once, and I think I left it on too long, as well as the hair wasn't that long, so it sort of burned my skin?
But I've never had trouble with it on my legs or anywhere else. _________________

I second that. I have once given a try to the hair removal cream. After more than 10 minutes, it didn't have removed all the hair and my skin was very irritated. Even if it's supposed to smell like peach, it still has a chemical scent when you use it. The slogan is "BYE-BYE Stubble", but for me it has been "BYE-BYE Nair cream" ! _________________ Dream as if you'll live forever. Live as if you'll die tomorrow. |

| I think I tried it like, once and I didn`t really like it because of the smell. The idea of depilatories kind of freaks me out actually because when you think of it, the chemicals actually like, melt away your hair. In the end I don`t think I really want something like that close to my skin, hahaha. |

^^ oh yeah that's a good point...
I read from a review somewhere that sometimes it burns/irritates people's skin but yeah i suppose that might be from leaving it on too long...
i wanted to hear your opinions/experiences first thought before trying it. _________________

| Well it might burn if you have sensitive skin but I've had no problems using it on my legs, arms and face. |
