So we have this community radio station and a friend of a friend has a show on it.
Only, I won't be home to hear it, and I know you can listen to it online, like if you click "listen to radio online" it just opens up windows media player and plays it.
So I'm wondering if there is anyway to record it with my computer?
Or save a specific part??

^My webcam has a mic, but it tends to cut off really easily.

I just found out that we also get that station on our tv, so I can just tape it with the vcr and then listen to it. The only problem is that I'd have to do that in my brother's room since the main vcr doesn' work, so that could be a hassle.
I'd still rather be able to record/save it off my computer if that's at all possible.

Get RealPlayer ( http://www.real.com/ ).

As a long-time computer user (nearing 19 years, now) my earliest impression of RealPlayer was not good... until recently. Although I don't use any of the "play" functions, it *does* work pretty well as a recorder for both video AND audio stuff online.

Check it out, install it, try it. If you have any problems (that you can't figure out for yourself), let me know. Happy

^Thanks so much! I'll definitely give it a try.

Okay, so I gave this a shot but I have a problem. So for the site, you click the link to listen to the radio and it always opens it up with Windows Media Player, by default. You can also save the link which I did so I could choose to open it in Real, only WMP still pops up. I think it's because only WMP can stream music from the internet?
Suggestions?
