Short Hair?

I'm getting a hair cut soon, and was thinking of going short... really short... like this short...

and was wondering what everyone thinks... Do you think the short hairstyle will come back in. . . or am i wayy out.... ps. i have really long hair right now. will be a big change. please let me know what you think!

Having short hair (but not that short in that pic) here in my country is very in, so why not? If your hair is curly or wavy i suggest not so short, as it will not look good. But if your hair is straight, cut it short and you look like Zoey Tay! Haha, do you know her?

Anyway i'm sure you'll look good if your hair is straight and short. Its easier to keep too! Good luck with it! Happy

but short hair does depend on the shape of your face, on some people it looks good and on others no so much. i'm not sure how the matienence is but it seems like if you want to keep it looking good it requires some. ive seen some people try to grow out their straight hair and it just ends up looking funky

I can't see the picture either...but I agree that short hair is a good thing too. But I think it depends on your face shape and size and such. Personally, I love having shorter hair because I find with long hair I look really young and it just over powers me because I'm really short. If your hair is really long right now maybe make a gradual move to shorter hair, like maybe chin length-ish first and if you like that you can get them to add more layers for a shorter look, and then from there maybe go even shorter. I don't know if that makes any sense, but I hope that helps!

depends on the shape of your face. compare shapes of peoples faces to yours that have short hair you like.. i couldnt see the picture though so i dont really now how short you wanna go.

I have short have and I love it!

Mine's what I like to refer to as "the reverse mullet". In the front it reaches my collarbone but it angles up a bit so it's shorter in the back.

The only thing is that if you have slightly wavy hair (mine isn't really wavy, it's like it have a bunch of cowlicks lol) you'll have to straighten it or something for it to look really nice.

^Yeah. I have short hair AND it's wavy... so it's SUPER annoying to style it the way you want to. I'd recommend straightening it (which is why I'm trying to find a good straightener right now Razz

like i cut it a few years ago when it was really long and donated it to angel hair for kids...it definetly is a change but its a lot less time consuming to style, ive got wavy hair and my hair is like a little under my ears its just like a bob so i like how i can leave it wavy or i straighten it.

if you want to cut your hair go for it! im not sure what your face and all looks like but the style is nice, and if your not sure about getting it like that, why not gradually go shorter?

i think short hair is much more dramatic and more of an attention grabber than long hair. I really do love it! i don't think i could pull it off because i have bigger features. Personally i think people with smaller features look good with shirt hair!

Ask your hairdresser for her thoughts on what type of cuts would suit your face shape and other features. And even if you dislike how it turns out..your stuck with it..so just act like it looks good and that you love it!
