i dont really agree...because personally, i think that leggings are really cute with dresses and a great way to cover up, i just dont really like it when people wear a tshirt and then use leggings as the pants. Confused

I think trends like leggings, skinny jeans, and flats will become everyday staples just because they've been a 'trend' for so long that even if it dies down, everyone will still wear them because the trend has become so strong people can't let go of it.

And items like leggings are very versatile since you can wear them in various occasions and with many different things, and I think people find comfort in that. I think that's another reason why people will continue to wear it. I guess leggings is just one of those trends that people will continue to wear, despite whether or not it's "out" and I wouldn't be surprised to hear that they've become staples.

It depends, like ^ says. Since some of these styles have been carried out for so long, they wont die out completely. Peoiple will just keep wearing them if they want to and it wont really matter

Im sketchy on the leggings thing. again, it depends how you wear them. They can look outdated if you choose an old trend to pair them with, but they can also be nice. Normally when you drag a trend on for a long time, they dont really leave. They may not be the most hit trend but they'll still be there. ^, they'll become staples.

Aghhhhh I hatehatehate leggings. My cousin has been trying to get me to wear them... everytime I wear a dress or a skirt- "wear it with leggings!". NO. I'd rather wear them with jeans, even if it looks sloppier.

I know what you mean, the whole dragging-it-on-too-long thing is annoying, but only if it's for a trend I dislike, like skintight skinnies, leggings, and skull overload.

lol when i saw this i thought you were talking about articles of clothing BECAUSE..i wear these pants ALL the time and apparently they dont sell them anymore and i love them to death and now they are withered and bleeding lmao and have holes in the but but i want to wear them anyway! lol

but as far as trends go, i hate it when people wear old ones. like von dutch hats!

i like wearing leggings as longjohns, when its cold in the winter, wear them under your jeans, its soo comfortable and warm!

I still like leggings, I think that they can completely change the look of an outfit. I have a black pair and I wear them under boxers in the winter around the house so they keep me warm ( haha i wouldnt wear them out like that though, lol) and I used to wear the under a denim mini in the winter too. I dont wear them as much in the summer, but I think theyre cute under the right sort of dress, or under a mini dress to give more coverage.

i love leggings and tights, they make a slutty outfit not slutty anymore! lol

but i am getting sick of seeing it...just the way girls wear it with long ugly dresses, it looks better with skirts.

not many people stilly wear leggings in my school
but that's probably because it's wayyy too cold
but I like wearing them under dresses when I forget to shave

but I really hate it when people wear them as pants, like someone mentioned above.
because the shirt is not long enough to be a babydoll tee, so it just looks weird...
but I would like to try wearing a really long tee shirt, for a 80's kind of look

sometimes leggings can look cute if you have the right colour or if you were them with a cute dress. but some people just wear them really weird.
