I watched a movie a few years back, I loved it but cant remember the name, it was a fairly long title. It was black and white, and was about some young ladies being taken in by a couple to advance their singing careers? One of these girls boyfriend had joined something like the mafia and she had to pick between him and her career, i think he was a pretty famous actor. I cant remember quite what happened. Thanks if you can help!

you should maybe go on imdb and search under plot keywords or something along those sorts.

It works for movies I can't remember the guys name or what it was called.

Bumping this topic since I'm wondering too.
I keep picturing this one scene from a movie and it's really bugging me since I have no idea what movie it's from.

The scene I remember is this guy and girl are on a train/bus and they have this kid with them and I don't think it's theirs. The guy and girl are somewhat fighting at the moment, or not really talking to each other, and the kid is just really excited to be on a bus/train since he hadn't been on before. And I'm pretty sure the kid finds like a dime or something, and gets excited and shows it to the guy and girl.

Anyone know what movie I'm talking about??

Now that I look at this again it sounds a little like Funny Girl with Barbara Streisand.
