abercrombie finally joining AF!

abercrombie is coming to Sherway Gardens on August 21 as per the Sherway Gardens website.

This is fantastic as I still love the girls XL selection and will buy my boyfriend's younger brother some stuff there. I do like it because it's cheaper but unfortunately it will still be pricier than its American counterpart.

I've read online 'a' is planning to open at the Eaton Centre too.

that's pretty cool, i bet i could fit into their largest size too! and save myself a bit of money. although i suppose the whole brand is a bit overrated and overpriced still.

^they do, i think they're putting in abercrombie (lower case a) which is the store for kids. really they should just call it abercrombie kids.

I've been waiting forever for it to come, adn now I can get abercrombie stuff for the same price as Hollister.

The only thing I find with abercrombie is that some of the stuff looks a lot younger than the A&F stuff. Especially the tees. But a lot of the knits are almost identical.

WHY WONT IT COME TO VANCOUVER? Any of the stores from the states really.

But I agree, I always buy abercrombie stuff. A lot of the stuff is practically identical to A&F, and it is waaay cheaper.

^ Abercrombie and Fitch is basically the adult and abercrombie (all lower case) is for kids... but for some ppl... the largest size in the kids section can still be wearable lol....i hope i can fit in them too cuz the kid's prices are cheaper than the adults and sometimes they have similar styles. But, in my opinion, I find that the kids section's clothes are cuter lol

Ahah I'm wearing an abercrombie knit right now.. It's good I still fit a M/L there. Last time I went to abercrombie though, little girls decked HEAD TO TOE in abercrombie and their moms gave me nasty looks, like "aren't you too old for this place?" lol

I was just in abercrombie in the States the other day and I got the same looks from both the kids and their mothers. I was waiting in the change room with the same pair of shorts as the girl who was probably no older than 7. (I'm 16)

I seriously can't wait until abercrombie comes to the Eaton Centre. I'll probably visit the Sherway location as well. It's so much more affordable than Abercrombie & Fitch clothing. I just hope that they don't up the price too much. D:

I'm thinking that the peices will be about the same as hollister

but the benifit with the kids sotre is that there will be no tax!
...Since it is a Kids store and all kids clothes and stores do not have tax lol

hopefully there will be no tax hahahaha

^^Yeah that's an added bonus..I remember my mom making me still buy kids clothes whenever I could just to save the tax. But I think they still charge GST, I believe. One of the taxes.

^Yeah, just PST you don't have to pay. I always automatically say "no tax!". I sometimes say it when I am in the states even, and they just give me a weird look.

but I have it wrong, it's actually alderwood mall that has the abercrombie kids.
so hurah! much closer! I love how it's only a few more exits down from the seattle premium outlet too.
athletic clothes are SO cheap there!

Hopefully it opens up on time. I remember I went to the first day of AF opening there and it didn't open on schedule because they had to wait for the store inspection by management before letting the public in. I didn't have enough time that day and had to leave :S

i went to eaton yesterday.. and i think they're opening an abercrombie kids as well in fall 2008 :\ im not sure

Yeah, I think so as well.
When I went a couple of days ago there was a store that had the usual wooden stuff blocking the front of all new stores.
This time around the door was open.
When I looked inside it looked pretty much exactly like the front of Abercrombie & Fitch (you know with the shutters on the windows).
So I just assumed abercrombie was being built there.
But I think it's opening in February not this fall.
I'm not that sure :s

I went to Eaton's today and I am now entirely certain that abercrombie will be opening there. On the outside it said Fall 2008. Yay! =)
