Sorry, I know alot of people wear this, but flip-flops in the street.
I mean, that's just wrong. It's like wearing slippers, but in a dirty grimy urban setting. Flip-flops are for the beach or casually in your backyard or a park. Not for going to school, or in the city.
It gives me the same vibe as people wearing pyjama bottoms to school, but with flip-flops, it's also unsanitary! :icon_icon8: Flip-flops are not a proper replacement for sandals!

^^ Oh great, now I'll never be able to sit on a bus seat again! Bleh....,

Slips
Silk tunic-like dresses that should only be worn to bed, not outside. They have no shape and look horrible on everyone. Aritzia currently has a royal blue one, and everytime I see it, I wonder WHY anyone would wear that?

Haha I thought we weren't supposed to name trends that have already been named...

Crocs has come up like 5 times already.

Oh, I hate it when people (men and women) wear those dressy trouser socks with sneakers and shorts. It looks bad and sloppy, and it makes you look extremely short haha.

I like crocs...
Sad

I really like them for stuff like when i have volleyball,
they're good to wear before I put on my court shoes
they're very comfy
but I dare to wear them like to school.
everyone would make fun of me!
I like them just for lazy days and stuff
many times when I'm hanging with my friends at the park and stuff...

K, i know where not supposed to repeat dislikes but i'm going to elaborate....

on the dreaded crocs

i don't care if you were them in the garden or to take out the trash
there is a reason why they are sold at garden stores

but don't show up to the mall in skinny jeans, a baggy sweater, and damn florescent crocs

and don't dress your whole family in crocs. you don't have to put your husband and three kids in all coordinating crocs.

now thing.... i just hate scrunchies in public
they're great for pulling your hair back when your washing your face but not the greatest for looking put together.

this post makes me sound like and angry person, haha.

^^Yeah drawn on eyebrows creep me out! As for the jeans with the 'g' on the bum, don't Guess jeans have a 'g' on the back pockets too?

I agree with the denim minis and leggings things. I also hate short shorts with leggings - are you trying to show skin or not? So weird.

well I don't mind mini's with leggings
just as long as they aren't like this kind they have at aritzia
I only bought that kind for soccer to keep me warm which did not help.
if they were something like wool or whatever,
then that would make the whole outfit scheme look more comfy classic
if you catch my drift=P

I ABSOLUTELY HATE SHORTS WITH LEGGINGS.
IT LOOKS TERRIBLE AND JUST BLOODY WRONG.

... wow, I said bloody. =)

-UGGS
I HATE UGGS! they may be comfy, but they have NO shape at all.
-the whole "STITCHES" style.
all the "poor" (no offence) people wear everything from stitches, and then think they are so cool.. argh. that really annoys me.
old women wearing ae, hollister, etc.
probably mentioned before, but seriously. ew. these kind of stores are meant for TEENS only, not old women. or little kids.

I take fashion at school and every single girl in that class thinks shes so fucking hipster and trendy and different but they all look the same.
Newest trend I saw that I wanted to set on fire? MOM JEANS. WHAT THE FUCK? WHAT TEENAGER WEARS CUT OFF MOM JEANS?

I agree I hate Garage. But Bluenotes isn't that bad. I got a couple really nice shorts from them a while ago.

And I do take offence to xmwahx saying "poor" people. I have some clothes from Stiches and if you saw them you probably would never guess they came from there. It's really rude to "classify" a store like that, I think if you see something you like from a store and it looks good on you what is so wrong with getting it, and how many people are really going to go "oh look she got that shirt from _______" anyways! I think someone wearing head to toe TNA or Juicy can look 100% worse than a person wearing head to toe stiches, it's all in the individual pieces that you pick.

Well that's all I have to say!

Oh and I hate girls wearing leggings as pants. Horrible!

^ I agree with leggings as plain bottoms

I can understand if you were wearing a long knit top..
but when it's short top! eugh!

AND when you wear them with moccassins
but you can see where the leggings end. and there's that two-three inches of leg until the boot. it just looks.. odd.

I really hate how you're classifying a store as being meant for poor people. Not everybody can afford A&F, HCO, etc. I don't shop there myself, because I never find anything I like, but there's nothing wrong with the store. I just find that completely ignorant how you think where someone shops dictates their income (although some higher end places would). Stiches isn't for poor people, but it's for people who want a deal, and to get more stuff for less money. Way to generalize! That's so intelligent![/sarcasm]

Anyways, a trend I don't like is skinny jeans on the wrong figures. They look better on people with longer legs, and a more slender frame. I don't like when I see larger girls wearing them because it makes their lower half look like an upside down triangle. Some can pull it off if they have a longer leg, but in general it looks better if you're on the smaller side.

ha ha, try telling a Floridian that. Most people, if they aren't wearing flip flops, its bare feet.

But it bugs me, too. Maybe its just the conservative dresser in me...somewhere. No, but really. it really is inappropriate. and I know I broke the rules.

So, I hate it when people have extreme plunging necklines. Its gross, really I don't want to have a free show.

- I hate it when those nammer (or nammer-washed) people wear those coach (or any other brand) pouches and think they're so cool

- WEARING KNEE-HIGH JUICY SOCKS WITH UGGS/BOOTS OR ANY OTHER SHOES

- When people wear cardigans with gym pants *barf

- ULTRA teased hair.. like what in the world are you hiding in there?

- Edhardy shirts/hoodies.

- Those champion track pants

- Gym pants with flats!

- Anything with STARS/ugly hearts/fruits on them.. (tops, sweaters, pants)

- Tops with lace at the bottom.. sorry it looks really cheap!

- Wearing those handkercheif "gangster" clothes over necks with normal outfits Neutral

- Girls wearing those big G hats.. they're meant for boys!

- Those colourful shirts with a shiny girl on them, and the shoulders are like drapes..

- American apparel hoodies worn ugly.. I like the hoodies though, if they're worn nice.

- Dying hair wild colours.. like green, purple, etc.. and it looks really ugly.

- STREAKS

K, I'll stop.

^lol, stole the words right out of my mouth!
but i dont understand what 'nammer' means..?

i dislike when bigger girls wear clothes that are meant for like..skinnier people.
and when i say bigger, i mean HUGE like over a size 14.
i just dont think it looks good.
or when bigger girls wear small clothes.
it doesnt matter what the tag says. most girls are soo happy they buy a 'small' but it doesnt necessarily mean theyre 'small' and it makes them look alot bigger then they are, in my opinion.

im sorry if i offended anyone =( that was not my intention.

I do not like...:
- people wearing all one brand (can you say spokesperson?)
- pants where you can see their freakin' underwear line
- little girls trying to dress up and sit in starbucks and drink their strawberries and creme frappucino 'cause it's the only drink they know from there.
- little children whining in aritzia/tna for their mommy's to buy them a sweater
- those freakin' tna carryall bags. I know, I feel hypocritical since I own one, but I bought it before I knew they were going to invade the freakin' school!
honestly, when you see mainly the grade 8's carrying them, you try walking buy, but they turn around at hyperspeed to screamand hug someone. and WHAM! you practically get knocked over by it!

^^ Well, I'm pretty sure that "nammer" is just like a slang way of saying "Nam" [a region of Viet Nam] and "bucky" is a slang version of "Bac" [another region]. And the "ky" part is because that part is kind of added on at the end... like, if someone was from the Bac region, then they'd be "bac ky". Sorry, that may have not made a lot of sense.

^^^ Hahaha, yes. I cannot stand that whole trend. [Kappa pants, North Face bombers, Nike Shox, TNA supplex, and the pouches - not to mention the girls with bleached blonde hair, 82 lbs of foundation, and blue contacts] I'm Vietnamese, and I have somewhat boycotted anything that is TNA in fear of being called a "nammer"

I also agree with everything else you've said!

I can't stand Ed Hardy clothing. The brand is plastered everywhere and imo, the designs are hideous. The hats are okay, I guess. I'd never buy anything that was Ed Hardy because it seems like it's just for people who want to show that they can afford it.

I don't know if anyone has said this yet, but:
- Tanks or beaters pulled all the way past your butt.
- Grey denim cutoffs. I saw a girl tanning in them at the beach once Shocked
- Cheetah print clothes. I have pink cheetah print boxers, but I wouldn't wear them in public Confused
- Sunglasses indoors/at night. Enough said.
- Sequins.
- 6 year olds wearing TNA.

Done. This post is long enough Very Happy

you took the words right out of my mouth! I cant stand people (especially gr8s) who only wear tna and have the logo all over them. It's actaully hard to look at, especially the weird brown colour. Oh and those TNA bags, its just that pretty much every girl has them now.I've seen a few that seem to have only a few pieces, it's like they spent all their clothes money on like 4 tna pieces. It just really bothers me. Even though it's their decision on what to wear, it seems like they only wear it to impress others. I tihnk the older grades have passed that fad.
