Alright we've finally got a date here!
I got an email from H&M yesterday inviting me to their VIP opening May 21st at 7PM with 25% off everything. I had to RSVP, so I'm assuming it's a closed event (in other words, you have to be on the list to get in).
If you haven't gotten an email, I'm assuming this means H&M will officially be opening May 22nd (which is a Thursday).
Are you excited? I sure am! |

| Yay!!!!!!! I'm tres excited. Although I don't buy tons of stuff from H&M (sometimes there is just too much stuff to look at that I get frustrated!) I love the pieces I do have! |

| ^^Honestly, I have no idea :S I think it's because I used a coupon from their magazine once and I had to write down all my info for it. I didn't get an invite to the lougheed opening though :S |

^Yeah you do-they sent me an invitation that clearly says it's only for me and one guest (which is too bad because I was going to bring a few of my friends along with me).
I'm wondering what this is going to be like-chances are it's going to be a really crazy event but I'm wondering how many people are going to be there-like if it's going to be as much of a gong show as it will be for the public opening. But 25% off is worth it!
I'll be sure to let you guys know what goes down |

| It's going to be a media event as well - I was employed by them for about a week at the end of April (I just fell into it - I was online and just sent my resume MONTHS ago blah blah..retail isn't for me though) so I knew about this. There is also a 'preferred customer' list which is the one that some people are signing up for via e-mail .. I think that it's from the little forms people fill out at Lougheed and Coquitlam. |

| ^Hmm guess I better dress well then! I was thinking of just wearing something crappy so I can try clothes on over what I'm already wearing lol. |

I went with a friend, it was a spur of the moment sort of deal (we didn't realize until the night before). It was pretty crazy... I've never been boxing day shopping or anything, so I've never seen crowds like it. It was fun though, and both me and my friend got a gift card (she got 50 bucks, I got 15... lucky duck!!). If only I actually lived in Vancouver, then I could really take advantage... _________________

I went yesterday [a little late, I know] and it was better than I expected!
That makes sense though, since it is the flagship.
I heard that the Lougheed one disappointed :/ _________________
