I had a Lord of the Rings marathon a couple nights ago with my little brother, hahaha. It really made me want to re-read the books, I think I might do that for summer break.

^it was scary for me but i'm really easily scared. you'll see dead bodies but those aren't too gross. the plot line is a bit predictable so the only thing that was really scary for me was the movie effects. bring a jacket to cover your eyes during the scary parts! that's what i did.

^^I am going to see it tomorrow! Ya, it is ALWAYS the sound effects that scare me. Its like they make the scary movie so you cover your eyes. Then itt stops so you uncover your eyes. THEN the actual scary part happens!

^ Omg I'm the same way, I'm such a fraidy cat when it comes to scary movies. It's funny cause I studied film for my communications term paper and like the techniques that they use such as sound...it's interesting to see how big an effect it plays on our emotions! Once I saw an exhibit at the Vancouver Art Gallery and this artist made a video that was composed of only the sounds that were going on in the scene, and the video part of it was a text description of what was going on in the scene, and it was soo scary!
