I thought alot of the stuff was very cute, especially the vests and shorts.
I heard there was a lineup outside Topshop when her line first hit stores... they were only letting people in 20 minutes a time, I think. _________________

| I find it really ironic that they'll be selling her stuff at Barneys in the US. Topshop, as cute as the stuff is, is still a lower-end clothing shop and it seems strange for the Holt Renfrew of the US to carry it. |

my fave pieces are the muscle back minidress, red hot pants, the black tee with sequins, the pansy print blouse, the red skinny jeans, etc etc.
I actually really love this collection, though it does seem that Kate stole her inspiration for this collection by many of the pieces in her own wardrobe. But I could definitely see myself wearing a lot of this stuff! Are they selling it in Toronto??? _________________

It seems kind of un-inspired to me.
She said herself she looked at pieces in her closet for inspiration, so basically she wasn't that original with her designs.
It's alright though, just nothing special. |

| the ordinariness of it is kind of what I liked, like it's actually something you could wear. |

Meg-San Holt Renfrew isn't American. It's CANADIAN! It's owned by the same dude that owns No Frills  Sam Walton or something like that. _________________ [Veni]..

^Haha of course I know that! I said "the holt renfrew of the states" referring to Barneys mentioned in the article
You know what I've realized though? Topshop seems to only be considered cheap to Brits living in the UK.....when I look at the website and convert it the stuff is a bit expensive for what it is I think. I went to the Topshop boutique in Tokyo last week also (which was TINY-it really was a boutique because there was barely anything in it) and the cheapest shirts were $40CDN (not counting tshirts) but most were around $70. I hate that our dollar does so badly against the pound!! |

I'd actually wear most of it. I think some of the pieces are must-haves, especially the spotty cotton dress and mannish waistcoat. I brutally love them. _________________

I'm glad I'm not the ONLY one who thought of that, LOL. It's H&M but a bit better, right?
And how much are they charging?! Lol. So dumb. |

I didnt really love everything, but I thought some of the stuff was pretty cute. I dont have a topshop where I live and so I probably wont be buying any of her stuff. I always love it when new lines are launched though.... _________________

I love the line, but I heard that her latest collection in stores is doing really bad compared to the first ones.......... _________________ Formerly lil_sweetiepoo on old fashion18.com
