|
|
I have a pair of Seven Flynt jean's that I've had my eye on. I tried on 2 sizes, a 25 and 26. The 25 fits really fitted through the thighs and tight in the waist. e 26 is fine on the waist but loose in the thighs. Knowing that 7's stretch out a lot, I know if I were to buy them that I'd have to get the 25. However, I'm not convinced that they will stretch enough in the waist to be comfortable. Right when I put them on, in the waist it feels SUPER tight. When I sit down in them my flab kinda bulges over the top (lol!). However, the thighs are fine. Does this sound like how they should fit? It's not the most comfortable, but it's bearable. Will they stretch out enough as the day wears on?
If you girls could tell me how your Sevens feel right in the morning, and then at the end of the day that would be great, thanks =)
My old Seven's have conformed to my body pretty well I would say, although i do start hiking them up by the end of the day, they are a regular bootcut size 25 if that helps.
PS The flynts have 2% elastaine in them |

Well I wash mine every 2 to 3 wears or whenever they get dirty, and when I wash them they are decently tight, but they stretch through the day.
I bought mine in a 27, which is what I buy all my jeans in (except for my Rocks or William Rast). _________________

I would go with the 25. I've tried on the Flynts and they seem kind of baggy around the knees, and since Sevens tend to stretch out, I'd suggest you buy them a size smaller than usual.
One of my pairs is a size 28 with stretch material in it, and it fit perfectly when I bought them but now they've become slightly baggy around the waist and butt - they're a straight leg cut. It goes back to normal after I wash it though. My other pair is a size 27 with a skinny cut, and when I bought them they were pretty tight around the waist. Now they fit pretty well but at the end of they day they're definitely slightly bigger around the waist and butt.
So yeah, when people say they stretch out a lot, they mean it lol. _________________

Go with the 25. After you wash them and wear them, throughout the day they stretch.
As soon as you wash them, they go back to their orignial size. Once worn for an hour or so, they stretch out.
Sevens do stretch, but not nearly as bad as Rock&Republics. |

I'd say go with the 25. I don't have any Sevens and I know Hollister jeans are different, but my Hollister jeans I bought were pretty tight to start, and I was worried they wouldn't be comfortable. I kept them and I'm glad I didn't decide to return them because they fit really well now. So I think the same would happen with Sevens with stretch in them. _________________

I agree with everyone, go for size 25.
I have a pair of Flynt's myself, and I find that they tend to stretch throughout the day. |

| Definitely go with the 25s. I am a 26/27 in jeans usually and with my Seven jeans, the 27s were too big and the 26s were quite fitted, but they definitely give throughout the day. |

I think she's already had her questions answered (considering the OP posted this in March...)
I call this the "Electricpearls Universal Sizing Guide" or not quite, but this is from my experience:
7FAM: Buy TTS or if you're on the small side of your size, buy a size smaller.
COH: Same as 7FAM (they're by the same designers)
J Brand: Size down except in Silverfox (I learned from experience, Silverfox wash fits SMALL)... J Brands fit large. Alot of their specialty colours (like silver, bright colours like red, etc fit small). Ink, white, etc. all their regular washes fit large.
Paige: Size up one
Rock & Republic: Size down one (they stretch like no one's business, though they have been
True Religions: TTS, usually
William Rast: These fit huge, size down one
Habituals: Size down one, usually
Hand wash your jeans in cold water, or wash gently.
I advise flat drying or hang drying them. Putting them in the dryer screws up the lycra.
If they've stretched out ALOT and they're not returning to original, boil shrink them by putting them in boiling hot water. Don't do this with R&R though... it won't work. _________________

^It depends on the wash and fit for JBrand.
Some washes run a bit big, like Ink. _________________
