^^I just rented the movie. Short I read the book, I'm looking for a story that doesn't use much of your brain, yet is entertaining.

Fool's Gold

It's not like my friend and I wanted to watch it. He just wanted us to pick something so he could sit in a dark theatre and eat things. We didn't even stay for the full thing, cause we wanted to get the last bus back, instead of having to pay for a taxi. I'm pretty sure I didn't miss anything. I wasn't bored-bored by it, but it didn't make me laugh. It was lame.

Watched Atonement on Friday; it was amazing. I think the best book-to-movie adaptation I've watched so far.

^^^I loved Atonement as well! I was bawling at the end, though I think I loved the book a teensy bit more. But the cinematography was beautiful, and I LOVED the score with the typewriter clacking and the piano key.

^ For sure! I liked the book better as well, but that usually happens with book-to-movie adaptations so go figure. But yeah, you are definitely right, they captured the period the film was set in so well, everything was just so beautiful and ah amazing!
