does anyone know where you can get a job at 14?

Mcdonalds? I think for most stores you have to be at least 16 to be considered.

Places that have a TON of entry-level jobs'll consider "students" as young as 14. I think that it's under 16 that you need parental permission... but otherwise, it'll be ok.

I have a friend who works at Garage clothing, she's 14. Most clothing stores don't hire until 16, I think. Fast food places will hire at 14 also. I think you can be a busser or a host at 14 for some restaurants. Do you have a Sobeys? I have friends who worked there when they were like 12 as baggers.

It's not legal in Ontario until you're 15 for insurance reasons. However some places like fast food and grocery places, maybe even some clothing stores, will hire at 14 if you're mature or close to 15. I was hired at 14...they told me not to fall off a ladder! haha cause they couldn't get insurance till I was 15 (in three months).
