How are you supposed to tie them? Do you just make a knot in the front and wear it like a shrug? In the store, they tied it around and wrapped it around so it looked really cool but I have no idea how to do that... Any suggestions/ideas?

I know what you mean about wrapping it, but I have no idea how it's done.
I've seen a lot of people just wear it down, and I think that looks fine.

you take one side of the loose hanging part, wrap it around you , going under the other loose part , hold it there, so that it is now tight. take the other side and wrap it around you, overlapping the other one, meet the loose ends together and tie a bow/knot

looking above.. it doesnt really make sense >< sorry.. i hope i helped

Do you mean something like this?

This seems to be what almost everyody does here in the GTA, and its really easy. To do it, you just fold your scarf in half, put it on your shoulders, and put the two loose ends through the loop (from where you folded it in half). LOL. Kind of hard to understand, but hope that helped! =)

^it's not a scarf, but good tip (: haha

I think you should just wear it loose, like the others suggested. I would sort of scrunch the sleeves up a bit, too. How does it look when you just tie a loose knot near the bottom?

OH! LOL. I feel stupid now. But I have an excuse since people use shawls as scarves nowadays. =P

Anyways, I also agree that it looks good with just wearing it loose. Happy

I tried wearing it loose the other day but since I'm quite short and the shawl is long, it hangs down pretty low.

^^I also tried tying a loose knot but I dunno, it looks alright I guess, but it doesn't really bring out the 'beauty' of the garment, if you know what I mean.

@baabybee: Where are the two ends supposed to meet? In the front, side, or back? I think I get it otherwise.

And thanks to everyone else!! =)

^^I'm trying to picture what she was talking about and I think it would look nice if it was tied to the side.

I searched on Google for a bit because now I'm interested in how you would wear it and I found some pictures that show ways you can wear it. Only I'm not sure how you'd achieve the look.

This one would be just a basic knot at the bottom:

I found a few wear they wear it so the long part hangs over their shoulder:

Or you could try it like this(which is the way I think you described how you saw the model wearing it):

I think for that style you could just wrap it around and tie it in the back??
