wierd pants trend ..... restarting?

i read this article somewhere that these pants are coming back in , called "drop crotch pants" apparently popularized by MC hammer.. well i guess im a little too young to remember

but what do you think of them?

hedi slimane showed them for dior f/w 07, i think they look ridiculous.
they look like the person is wearing (soiled) pampers underneath.

I'm really doubting those pants are going to catch on as a trend. I think society learnt their mistake after the 80s and MC Hammer's infamous parachute pants circa Can't Touch This.

Haha! Yeah, I don't think these will be too popular. At least I hope not. I remember trying on a pair of my friend's sweatpants, and the crotch was really long.. I was just like wtf.

I really don't like those... but a girl I work with wears pants with the drop crotch all the time, and it looks alright. I guess that's just her style lol.

Wow.. MC makes a return.

Personally.. I'm not a fan of those. They make the hip/crotch area look REALLY strange.. although maybe if you had your period or something, that'd be okay.. LOL. It'd be roomy.. or maybe if you were a guy. Or something. But they're still ugly.

I think only sweatpants work with the whole low crotch thing. Tight+loose just don't work together like that.

i really don't feel these, but they did make their way into the mainstream at one point in fashion before... so what is stopping them from coming back again. i watching ready or not today, and it was from probably 13 years ago and amanda was definately wearing some haha. plus... if hedi slimane is showing them they might just take off in a few years.... i know, i know, i shudder at the thought too lol.

but sticking to the topic, I don't really like these pants either. Confused

I think that some people will still wear them though as long as they arent as baggy as the ones in mike's post; it does look like a diaper!
