^^^^I went to metro too, we went waaay early when there were like no lines, except at lululemon and a few other stores that I didn't feel like going to haha, I went to urban planet and got: a tank top, sweater, t-shirt, and henley for $19 though, it was pretty awesome. Oh and, if anyone saw a girl waiting outside of there with glasses and curly brown hair looking irritated/sad wearing a brown shirt under a turqouise and white top with a black necklace and jeans... that was me waiting for my parents (my dad went into a store and was gonna meet up with my mom and I at urban planet but he got lost so my mom went to find him but I had to stay at urban planet in case he came there -_-)
I also went into that one asian store that is really tiny but crowed with ADORABLE stuff (I can't remember it's name) I was like the stuff was sooo cute, but it was pretty filled... hehe
I went into other stores too of course but those two were my faves _________________ ...DArk duCKY..

DID YOU SEE THAT LINE FOR LULULEMON! IT WENT ALL THE WAY BACK TO THE FOODCOURT!
I didn't even bother going in there. only two racks per size and there wouldn't be enough items for every person in line.
what did everyone get? |
i did! and then the zara line went from the (when you're facing it) left hand entrance to bluenotes, then angled back around that pole and i think and it's longest they were somewhere around sirens :\
i'm going in a few days, it's boxing WEEK, silly shoppers. |

^^^^^I think that tiny store's name is piggy bank, I passed by it.
^^^^ I took the skytrain and saw the line for Zara, and I agree, it was nuts!
^^ the aritzia line was pretty fast, but very crowded and humid inside.
I didn't bother going into TNA, although I really wanted to.
there's this blue jacket for the Vancouver 2010 Olympics. it's called park wear
and it was all of the countries printed all over very nicely.
before the boxing day, I saw it for $115. I want to find it for cheaper. _________________

I went boxing day shopping at Eaton's Centre on the 26th, and then today, I went down to the Bloor/Yorkville area.
There was a line at Aritzia at Eaton's, but it wasn't insanely long. However, damn, you should have seen the A&F AND Hollister lines. They were SO insane. Even the Hollister line was 2 rows long in front of the store. When I went to Yorkville today, it was so uncrowded. I was pleasantly surprised. There weren't any line ups, not even for Lululemon or Aritzia.
Anyways, if anyone's interested, here are some of the deals I remember:
Eaton's Centre and surrounding area:
Aritzia: 20-50% off all Fall/Winter merchandise.
Urban Planet and Stitches: Up to 75% off. (nothing really good, though).
Zara: I think everything in the store was on sale. There were tons of tees starting at only $6 (it was hard to find small sizes though). I saw the coolest pair of triple strap flats for $30.
Mango: Everything in the store is 50% off.
H&M:Selected items 50-70% off. It wasn't that great. Last year it was buy 1 get 1 free on all sale stuff.
Urban Outfitters:Clearance items (and I think outerwear as well) were all an extra 50% off.
Forever 21: There was NOTHING on sale. Ha.
UB/Costa Blanca: 50% off fall/winter merch.
Fairweather:Up to 75% off.
Bloor/Yorkville area:
H&M & Zara:Same as before.
Winners: extra 25% off clearance.
Holt Renfrew:Up to 50% off Fall/Winter merch. _________________

I went to Yorkdale on Boxing Day, the line at Coach was HUGE so I didn't bother to go in. Surprisingly, Sephora didn't have a line up and the sales were amazing! I ended up getting a really nice hat at Holts and the Diorshow mascara & blush I really wanted from Sephora <3 . _________________

I went to Sherway Gardens
I first lined up for Abercrombie and got fur lined hoodies for myself and my boyfriend. Originally $170 and $188 down to $99.90.
Then went to Sporting Life and got a Burton snowboarding coat for $99 (originally $270) and a North Face coat for my boyfriend ($190 originally $380).
BCBG was all 50% off so I got 2 dresses. The BCBG sale was definitely the best deal of the day.
Overall, a good Boxing Day for deals this year!

^ Wow, it def. sounds like you scored some awesome deals!
I was really sick so I attempted to drag myself out of bed to do shopping, but I wasn't really into it much...all I got was 5 bras from La Senza (they were going at 8.50). I went to Richmond Centre...it wasn't EXTREMELY crowded, but it was still pretty crazy. Aritzia was probably the worst though, it was sooo hot and crowded and it made me really dizzy!
My parents scored some awesome deals though...they bought a 52" TV, a new cordless phone, and some XBox 360 games for my brothers. |

I only bought 1 thing on boxing day: A flower print silk dress from Aritzia (Wilfred) with the gift card my boss gave me for Christmas.
I REALLY wanted to try to get a Nintendo DS with my christmas money, but they're sold out EVERYWHERE. |
