I want to look into getting a spray on tan this summer but I dont know anything about it! So if anyone can help me out on some questions, that would be great.
1. How much do you have to go?
2. About how much do you have to pay?
3. Is it easy to do?
4. Is there a difference between going to a salon or doing it yourself at home?
5. Do they look natural?
6. How long do they last (if you have a shower, will it wash off?)
Thanks. _________________ *parting is such sweet sorrow*

| Hmm I'm interested in getting a spray tan as well. But I want to get the Mystic Tan where you just step in a booth and it takes like 2 minutes haha. I think I'll get one during spring break. It comes up to $40 with tax. And it lasts 7-10 days I believe. But from what I've been told after like 5 days just start going tanning in a bed and your tan won't fade for a long time. Hope I helped! |

i've gotten the mystic tan before.. its $30 + tax.. i went to salon soleil.. renamed to med spa now.. basically you go into a booth.. the lady gives u all these instructions and this specific cream that blocks off the spray, for places like hands cuz u dun want too much ther itll look unnatural cuz itll stain.. then you go in.. 14 secs on one side.. then turn.. 14 on the other.. (hint.. when the spray stops.. turn around right away cuz u dun wan end up looking like ROSS from friends lol!!).. i guess its the fastest tanning there is... then when you come out u lightly pat off the excess tanning stuff
this is the downside.. my friend said she got it too and it streaked a lil bit.. when i went i purposely took a shower @ home b4 cuz if u hav other stuff like lotions and sweat that might effect it.. so be sure of that...
also.. even after u wipe off the excess spray tan solution.. it might stain ur clothes a lil so wear like ur crappy clothes......
the tan onli lasted like a week.. and after the first shower all this bronzer stuff washed off.. wasn't realli worth it...
honestli.. if u want a little tan.. go to the tanning bed... couple of times.. get a nice glow.. yes its not amazing for your health but what is?.. if u dont go overboard ull do fine .. and as for fashonista's comment.. obviously ur mystic tan wont fade for a long time..cuz ur getting the UV tan on top of it.. :S:S:S!!
lastly.. think of the mystic tan as like semi-permanent make-up.. itll wash off, rub off and its not exactly A tan (my perception)... not worth ur money
.. so for the same 30.. go cuple times to a bed.. and itll last 3x as long.. (ofcourse depends on ur skin type)...
hope that helps!!

Spray tan is worth it though if you dont like the solarium. Get a test patch done first though because some skin types turn almost orange
I passed out when I got spray tan done last year haha. It was quite the experience. The girl told me to hold my breath and keep my body rigid while she was up around my face so I did and before I knew it I had paramedics above me. She was soo freaked out and kept going to get me these tiny glasses of water. (I was also over tired and haden't had the chance to eat properly that day. I doubt it was the fault of the spray alone!) |

| I wouldnt waste my money on it, it doesn't look as natural because it streaks and it doesnt last. |

i work at a tanning salon and i always do spray tans for people.
not the ones in the booth but with a person actually spraying the solution on you.
and there's different types of solutions for your skin tone and it won't make you go streaky or orange. it looks very natural as long as you get the right solution. also it's 30 + tax. |
