Well my job at Zellers has come to an end Sad

I worked yesterday and had a great day, then me and 14 other people got laid off (according to the co-manager) since the season is over, the thing is we were all told the season was suppose to be over in January. apparently it hasn't been busy enough and we had nothing to do all day (which is complete bull shit) and now I cant get a job until the season ends so Im going to lose my cell phone and other stuff, my parents don't know yet, they are going to be so mad at me and blame me somehow. Luckilly I can use them as a reference but Im so mad and angry, I already know the manger didnt like me one bit (long story) so I dont know if thats the reason Im just so depressed and stressed Crying or Very sad

So my grand total of days I worked thier was 7 days......how pathetic Grrrr

sorry to hear about that. I still havent found a job yet either and I think that I'll have to wait until spring when they start to really hire again for the summer. Mad

I hope that you'll be able to find a job earlier than that though!

Nope nothing, I just get paid for the week I worked plus the day I was laid off....it was so unexpected. But I talked to a few girls today when i got my check who got laid off (they were getting their checks to) they said they were all told that they would be laid off in January. I even called head office and they said they couldn't do anything. Oh well guess I'm jobless till summer.
