|
|
I was going through pictures from NY Fashion Week.. And I've seen a lot of catsuits..
Erm. I personally would never wear them.. I think they're really ugly. I saw it first at H&M and I first thought it was a really shapeless dress. Then my friend straightened it out for me and I was just like OMGGROSS. What do you think?
^Betsey Johnson
^Marc Jacobs
^Oscar de la Renta
And a lot of other designers have like high waisted balloon pants. I hope this doesn't become a new trend... |

Whoa.. those are catsuits?
They look like regular clothes... (regular meaning, non-catsuit).
I don't really like that first outfit... the last one I really like, though. Especially the coat! |

The first Betsey one doesn't even look like a catsuit to me..it looks like a regular blue satin dress. I think it's cute. The MJ one is quite ugly, imho, and the Oscar de la Renta one is nice. I love the print. I don't like catsuits in general, I find that very few people can pull them off. I especially hate the more form-fitting ones. The looser one like the Oscar one is ok. I personally wouldn't wear 'em myself though. _________________

I think the Betsey one is a catsuit... Well when I first saw it I thought it was a catsuit.. Since you can kinda see the cuff going all around the leg?
Well here's the H&M one I saw
I also saw it on the mannequin. I thought the mannequin looked really good with it... But I think in real life it'd be one of the hardest things to pull off |

| They're nice as long as they're with a belt or something to seperate the top from the bottom. There's just never really a time where you're like wow this calls for a catsuit. |

The H&M one is cute on the model..she can pull it off. I wouldn't wear it though since it's not really my style and I don't think I'd be able to pull if off. Actually, I don't think many people can pull off the catsuit look. It's tough. _________________

I like rompers. They're sort of similar but they're usually shorts instead and strapless. I got an adorable one from Zara <3 _________________

| The first one looks really cute, and the third one is okay. I guess if the bottom isn't extremely formfitting, some people can pull it off. The second one just looks wrong to me though lol. Maybe it's the makeup and hair grossing me out? But probably it is the (to me) ugly catsuit. Hope catsuits don't suddenly become popular at school! What eyesores... |

I always thought a catsuit was the tight vinyl kind like catwoman wore...I called those "jumpsuits" or "playsuits".
But whatever the name is, you can still call them "UGLY". Even though the H&M model may look good in it, I think she'd look pretty ridiculous walking around in that. |
