Grade 6? I wouldnt wear it to school but I would wear it after! My friends Mom worked for Dior and she had drawers full of makeup! So fun!

I started using lipgloss a lot when I was in grade 6; middle school I added in light shadow and shimmer.
But I became a regular makeup wearer when I was 15 or 16, and only now that I'm turning 18 do I use foundation and all that stuff.

Ya, I always wanted to wear makeup in grade 6 and 7 (shimmery blue and pink) lol, but I usually just went without. I think I started wearing eyeliner and mascara and stuff in grade 8 or 9. Usually I always wore just mascara and lipgloss.

I was about 15....but first it was mascara and lip gloss, then at 16 I started wearing blush and powder foundation etc....and now at 18 I pretty much wear everything, I love makeup so much Icon_applause1

^ I agree, I love makeup as well.

I guess maybe 15 or so? Now I wear so much more than I used, but I still can't bring myself to wear foundation, I'm scared I'll be a cake-faced mess. There are too many of the fake orange-tanned platinum blonde 2 cm thick foundation type of girls at my school, I'm so scared I'll even look slightly like that. Not that that would really work, because I naturally have dark dark brown hair and pale skin... I wear some very sheer powder and a little concealor, but for face makeup that really all.

In grade 7 I would use foundation and cover-up and a bit of eyeliner (not black and not on the bottom

). In grade 8 I started using an eyelash curler, mascara, etc. In gr 9 I started wearing it daily using foundation, concealer, blush, eye shadow, liner, mascara, and lip gloss.

when i was 13 is when i started but just with mascara and lipgloss. 14 i wear it more often but i don't regularly use shadows and colors even though i love them and liquid eyeliner only a couple times a week the most and for special occassions ... but we'll see now that i'm almost 15 and in grade 9. But i'm not the type to use alot or overdo it like some girls in my school

i remember in grade 7 when i friend of a friend tried foundation i guess because she had not so flawless skin. it came out really cakey and almost pink! i felt really bad for her.. Confused

I wore lip gloss and pink eye shadow in middle school maybe some black mascara every now and then (and sometimes occasional blue mascara). But I got artistic with my makeup when I was 15 or 16. Seventeen now, and I think I'm the pro out of all my friends.

I didn't start wearing makeup until I started uni. And even now I only really wear foundation/power and then some mascara when I go out. I'm pretty simple

didn't start wearing foundation and other makeup till i was 17/18.
but i'm 19 now and i wear everything! haha. well more so because we weren't allowed to wear makeup in highschool (a catholic/private school). i don't wear eyeshadow every day now though, but i glad i have the freedom to wear makeup whenever i want now!

Around 16, but never a lot. Only some mascara and blush usually. My skin's pretty good so I've never really needed to use concealer or foundation.

since i was 13...i experimented with it in 5th grade a couple times but that never worked out

i used to wear a lot of makeup when i was younger but now im opposite from most of you girls...i dont even wear makeup at all, or if i have to, i just brush on powder and a little mascara, i absolutely hate makeup! it feels like there is mud and grease on my face...and its a b@!$% taking it off...but if i have to go to a club or something then i know how to cake it on =)

my first was a powderly blue eyeshadow when I was 12...

bleh e_e. I do not look good in powderly blue eyeshadow. I wore it pretty on and off, even though. But I'd say it was around grade 10~ that I started really wearing makeup.

I started with lipgloss in grade 7, added eyeliner at the end of grade 8, and the occasional light eyeshadow for special occasions. And then I kept up with eyeliner and eyeshadows until I was 15 when I got into mascara, and when I turned 17 I began with foundation.
Basically, when I was 14 I started wearing it regularly.

Assuming Lip Smacker doesn't count (that started in grade 6), I started using make up when I was 17 and in my last year of high school, when I was getting ready for graduation photos. I did not start thinking about wearing make up regularly until this month though, when I got addicted to eyeliner. I've spent so much money this month on make up alone than I have ever spent in my entire life, but you gotta start somewhere I guess. *sigh* =P

I started in Grade 9, with a bit of lipgloss, the occasional mascara, etc.
It wasn't till Grade 10 that I actually started using make-up. From Grade 10 to after Grade 12, I was really into make-up. I never wore face products, but everyday I would do crazy eyeshadow with crazy colours. But once my first year of university started I gradually sort of stopped wearing makeup, [1] no time, [2] unless I'm going out I've sort of stopped caring. Usually I wear a little bit of eyeliner though, applied within 30 seconds before I run out the door.

Lipgloss started in grade 6, and eyeshadow in grade 7. I only started using all the other stuff when I turned 16, and now at 18 I use pretty much everything but nail polish (and I'm still looking for a decent priced, good primer/base).
I can't imagine what my makeup routine'll be like after I go to a makeup school... I hope that if I have daughters in the future they won't start out as young as I did, I have terrible skin now as a result. ><

..when i was around 16..

So now i use foundation, mascara and eye pencil.. and seriously my parents don't want me to be using make up AT ALL.. my mom would always be like why are you ruining your face with all the make up, your eyelashes are naturally black and blah blah.. even though i stick to more of a natural look.. I love make up.
