I have a pair of Ugg knock-offs(emu ridges) and they are so flat. In addition to a weak leg, I slip at least once a day in these. What other boots can I get that are flat, with grip and still cute?

PICTURES are very welcome.=)

Actually I find real uggs to be a lot more slipperier then emus. Although my uggs are a couple years old so maybe they have improved grip.. but I know that my sisters emus a lot more gripper then my uggs.

Perhaps you could put a grip thing on the bottom of the boots? I have heard of them although I'm kind of drawing a blank about where to get them

when i was doing "research" on ugg and emu boots, i found that there was a difference between styles of each brand that i never noticed before.
for both ugg and emu boots, you can get the pair with the eva outsole (the "thin" sole that might be the "slippery kind") or a rubber sole (the kind with a good grip). i notice that the majority of boots i see people wear have the eva outsole and i think the ugg boots sold in stores carry that kind. however, my sister bought emu boots with a rubber outsole and the grip is very good.

you can see the differences here:

EMUS with rubber sole

both brands come in both styles for short and tall boots. however, the UGG boots with the rubber sole in the tall version has a strip of embroidery down the back. i haven't seen those in stores here in vancouver so maybe only the states sells them.

hope this helped clear any confusion Happy

i slip in my uggs all the time with the eva sole so i wouldnt recommend those at all, they have the worst grip. maybe the rubber sole ones would be better. if not, im not really sure what boots have good grip..maybe timberlands?

yeah my eva soles are pretty slippery on my emus but my friend got these other emus and they almost look the same only the bottom i think it's rubber and they're like a canadian winter version of emus. that's how i like to think of them, cause the toe's reinforced and they look like they'd last a lot longer. but i still like the way the eva sole ones look.
