I've been using the Biotherm Acnopur line for years now, and although it has drastically improved my acne I've never liked how dry my face feels after applying the moisturizer.

I want to try the Clinique 3-step line because I've heard so many good things about it. But I'm afraid to go out and spend so much on the set (even though I know it's still much cheaper than the Biotherm set) only to find out it doesn't work for me.

Do you know if Clinique has a mini "tester pack" or something that you can get to try it out? Or if they'll give you your money back if it doesn't work for you?

I bought the Clinique 3-Step line a while back (from Sears/The Bay) and when it didn't work out, they gave me a full refund. Just to clarify, I had a bizarre stress-related skin reaction that was made worse by any kind of facewash so that's why I had to return it. I actually really liked the line! Especially the facewash. Happy

Alternatively, when they're having a free gift promo (there should be one coming up!) you can buy some makeup (around $30 worth) and enjoy the 3-Step samples included in the gift! The gift usually contains other nice stuff like mascara (good quality IMO :P), lipgloss, perfume (Clinique Happy = Very Happy) and eyeshadow. It's a good deal!

hope that helped :icon_thumbsup:

^Ohh it includes a 3-step sampler?? Hmm maybe I'd buy some perfume or something (I like the clinique happy-it smells really fresh).

^Ohh I'll definitely have to take a look at that! Which place(s) usually has this gift?
Hmm I think I need the #3 toner.....but I don't think it would make that much of a difference for me since I just want to give it a try.
So it's usually around $30 you have to spend to get the gift?

Sears and/or The Bay should (almost definitely) have it. Yup, you need to spend around $30, which isn't bad at all considering how generous (kinda) their gift is. :P

The thing is, I have no idea when their next free gift promo is going to be. I know Lancome's is currently on at Sears? Try calling Sears' and The Bay's Clinique counter and they should be able to tell you when. Or if you're in the area, you can pop by and ask them -- they're really nice Very Happy

I did some mini-research and I found this: (unfortunately, it's out of date, but this'll give you an idea of what the gift is like)

^Hmm I'll have to go over and check it out at the (very small) Sears near my house-apparently they just got an Anna Sui counter so I've been meaning to go over there anyways. Thanks Jousy!
(BTW good luck this week-I'm assuming you're just as bogged down with assignments as I am!)

they definately don't have a problem with it even if you just go up and ask them for some samples! that is what i did, because i went there looking for the acne solutions line, but they were all out, so they gave me enough samples of their regular skincare line until the acne solutions came it. the clinique people are really great.
