Well, in 1 month its going to be halloween! so i need some help on costumes. i want to be something pretty this year (pls not witch, etc). what would u recommend and how to do it? what about something like a fairy? with a tank and skirt+ wings. but i don't think my normal clothes (without the glittery stuff) would look very good.
if u don't have a suggestion u can post what you're going to be!
TIA |

I already mentioned this somewhere, but I'm going with my guy friend as yin and yang...I dunno if you'd wanna do that but if you do and can't do it with a friend then you could do this:
Outfit: Black and white dress, one white glove and one black glove or white nailpolish on one hand and black on the other , a black shoe and a white shoe worn on alternate sides than the gloves/polish (dont wear a black shoe and glove/polish on the same side), black and white necklace
Makeup: White eyeliner on one side and black on the other, and a small yin-yang symbol underneath one of your eyes (if you want to avoid the extreme of having half your face painted black, and the other painted white)
...and any other black and white details you can think of
But if you wanna stick with being a fairy and use your normal clothes, try picking pastel colours (pink and green are good for fairies) for your outfit and if you don't have one, purchase a sparkly gold or silver shrug or something, wings, a tiara, and a wand. All you have to do after is add some shimmer to your face, and you're good to go! _________________ ...DArk duCKY..

I posted this somewhere else too
I want to be a surfer girl so badly for my halloween dance
so I want to wear a yellow rashguard with these really cute blue boardshorts
sadly, it's hard to find leftover summer stuff
so I may go as a lifeguard
and it's really easy too!
find some red shorts, wear a white boyfriend tank and a swimtop under
wear some aviators and some flip flops! _________________

| I was elle woods from legally blonde a couple of years ago. I had a long blonde wig and I wore a pink skirt, pink top, and pink heels. I even has a fake pink and white louis vuitton purse with a little stuffed chihuahua in it. It was alot of fun! I have always wanted to dress up as Laura Croft from Tomb raider. All you need is black shorts and a black tank top, black braided hair (or wig) and some fake guns. |

Those are really good ideas! ^
and I like the ying and yang one too.
I have always enjoyed being a cowgirl and vampire, not very original but whatever!
And my most favourite costume as a child was pippi longstocking, i wore overall shorts, crazy leggings, crazy socks over them, braided hair and used this dye stuff to make it wash-out orange, etc. it was a fun costume. _________________

Go look into Greek Mythology and pick a specific goddess. You could be:
Demeter, goddess of the Fields,
Artemis, who was a hunter (quiver and arrow type) and goddess of the moon as well
Aphrodite, goddess of love
and there are plenty of other options, jsut look it up on the net. |

Two of my guy friends, my girl friend and me are going as the cast of Scooby Doo. I'm Daphne For Scooby Doo, we have this stuffed animal. He's dressed up as a wizard so technically, he's dressed up for Halloween too. Hahah.
My other friends, they're going as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
I love group ones! _________________

I think I am going to be a fairy for halloween. I think I will wear a silver, shimmery dress and leggings and silver flats and then sparkly makeup and fairy wings.

Thanks! The only part that sucked was that I had to wear a sweater over it :/ _________________

^true that!!!
On my blog, I wrote
"The difference between 'pop' and quality music is that pop has a style and quality music has a sound."
or something like that.
I was pretty stoked when I thought of that.
You should have just been like, "Uhh... yeah I'm in a duwop group."
They probably don't know the difference between duwop and old-school.
gosh. _________________
