Inexpensive, Good Hair Straightener

What is a good straightener I can get for around $40-50? Thanks.

Ive never had that good many good cheap ones,
try one from vidal sasson, i think you can get in walmart. they're pretty cheap and arent that bad

i dont think youll get a great hair straightener for that price range. if youre willing to pay between 100-200 id highly recommend a chi hair straightener and im sure many other girls would as well, it works so well!

^I agree, I love my Chi. I've had it for two years and it still works really well.
It might be worth it because instead of buying 2 or 3 cheap ones that you test out you'll get a great one right away. I heard GHD is amazing as well.

I agree its worth it to spring a bit more because it will last longer opposed to buying cheap and going through a few. Cheap ones will stop getting to the highest heat alot sooner.

Goto the Beauty Suplly Outlet and see what they can reccomend for you.

I had a vidal sasson one and it was really really bad i guess just try to find a ceramic one in your price range or can you borrow a friends??

I used to have a Conair that wasnt great but wasnt good, but that was a long time ago, like 9 years maybe and they look like they have really improved so you could try theirs.

Thanks for the suggestions. The thing is that i wear my hair wavy most of the week and only straighten it maybe once or twice, so I dont want to spend too much!

yeaa i got a CHI for xmas last yearr.... i dont know what i would do without it

what if you try that conair blowdryer that straightens as it blowdies
its about 60-75 dollars i thinkk....

my sister has a conair one that's really good and it was around $30 only i think. however, some conair straighter types do not work well but some others do.
so if you have a london drugs near you, they'll probably have conair straighteners and you can always buy one, bring it home and try it. and if you don't like it, you can get a full refund and buy a different model to try. 8)

^^yeah, i don't like the blowdryer thingies either. they did nothing for me, sometimes i use the brush as a brush but that is about it.

i also recommend CHI. i've had mine for almost two years, and it still works just as good as it did when i bought it. it is definately worth the investment. the only problem is the one i bought doesn't have variable temperature settings. with the more expensive hair straighteners, they usually get to EXTREMELY hot temperatures.

make sure to use a heat protector or something on your hair or you'll fry it. don't make the same mistake i did Crying or Very sad

The ones from like London Drugs are cheap and I guess if you have thin and already pretty straight hair, it could possibly work.
