|
|
I walked past Bebe today at the mall and a guy I went to high school with saw me and called me to come over to tell me about this "sale".
Bebe is offering people the US price but in Canadian dollars. He gave us a chart to look up the price different (so if the chart said it was priced at $60US, you would get it for $60CDN instead of the actual listed Canadian price), and I couldn't believe how much they're marked up here!!!
I bought a purple top that was $110CDN marked, and with tax it actually came to $80CDN. I was shocked at how much everything is marked up!
So if you guys are Bebe fans it's definitely worth checking out. I had my eye on a coat there if I hadn't already just bought one.... |

oh, I think bebe uses fake fur now. saw a poster in store or something. Guess still uses animal fur though.
btw it also works on the clearance item which are like xtra 50 or 65% off great deal! |

| ^Yeah and my friend told me that you get 50% off the "converted" US price and not the way-higher Canadian. |

^Yeah the actual price tags haven't changed. That's why they hand out a chart-you look at the price on the price tag and then find it on the chart to see what the US price is. So the top I bought was marked at $120CDN and on the chart that meant it was equivalent to around $80US, so I got it for $80CDN.
Make sense? |

^Yeah I bought something there yesterday that's why I know it's true.
I'm not sure-the signs said "this weekend only" but they've had them up for a couple of weeks now. I guess because the dollar is continuing to do so well but they don't want to make any sort of long-term "committed" drop in prices in case the dollar drops back down again. |

| Wow, that's awesome! Thanks for posting this. Bebe clothes aren't really my style, but hopefully this will lead to other stores doing the same thing. |

this is for sure cuz I just shopped @ bebe this week.
^and yes don't u notice that a lot of other stores are having promos or F7F sales? that's cuz if they dont do sales & drop their prices, their customers (us) are gonna want to go to USA to buy cheaper stuff!
eventually, tho i dunno when, the dollar will go back up. so i think u should really seize the opportunity to buy stuff (well at least i am) while they're cheaper... |

| ^Yeah I think I'm going to end up doing a lot of shopping online this year or try to limit myself to shopping at Canadian places. I'd rather support the Canadian economy, but at the same time with buying so many gifts during the holiday season I need to save as much as I can! |
