I posted that I had been reading that book in What Are you Reading Now? and a lot of people seemed to be love itjust like I do so I decided to start up a new thread about the series. If you haven't read all of it, you mght not want to keep reading as there may be some spoilers in the next posts.
Now that I've said that, what do you think will happen in the next book?
YAY!!! my favoritest book ever. i've offically converted 4 people to Edward-ism :lol: muahahaha
i don't really know what will happen in Eclipse, but Edward better be in it more than he was in New Moon.
Bella will probablly become a vampire.
i can't wait!
and Stephenie Meyer said she's re-writing Twilight from Edward's perspective!
i hope they end up going ahead with the movie... _________________
Edward better be there more than before! I mean, he better not go skipping off again like in New Moon. She LOVES you! Gah, that was so irritating. When that part happened , I swear I almost threw down the book.
Just FYI, the first chapter of Midnight Sun, Twilight from Edward's point of view, is up on Stephenie Meyer's website, which suprisingly is www.stepheniemeyer.com There are a bunch of extras and other things on the website, so if you happen to be an Edwardist, definitly check it out.
Eclipse is coming out in August/September! Can't wait!!
I love this series so so much. Sadly, I have only converted 1 person, and not really to "Edwardism", since he's a guy, but more like to "Twilight-verse". I cannot wait for Eclipse! I think there will be a major confrontation between the vampires and the werewolves. I also think that Bella will become a vampire... eventually.
I'm reading Twilight now, thanks to luvthevalleyoh. I haven't gotten that far into it, but it's good so far. I hope I like it enough to want to read New Moon. I did read an excerpt from her upcoming novel (I forget what it's called), the one where Twilight is in Edward's perspective. And it sounds sooo good! Either way, I'm definitely going to end up reading that one. _________________ I think you're just so pleasant, I would like you for my own...
The Edward one will probably only come out after she releases the whole seried from Bella's point of view. And it's only going to be the first book that's released from his side. Atleast, that's what I've heard.
I got SOO mad when *SPOILER* Edward leaves for like... a chunk of the book! :evil: And I don't like Jacob... >=T
I got a whole bunch of people hooked to the book. A bunch of my friends are like.. IN LOVE with Edward... and now I'm seriously excited for the third book.
*SPOILER* yeah.. I'm bored.. bite me for being random.
The part about Bella seeing something... red in the water when she... jumped? (I haven't read the book in a while) freaked me out.. kinda... 'Cause of Victoria and how they said that vampires can move faster when they're in the water... it was like, 'ZOMGWTFBBQCHICKEN!! BELLA GET OUT!'
I found Bella or whatever her name was to be boring and Edward just to be very seducing like every other vampire in every other vampire romance novel =P
Then again I find little interest in things outside of satire. . .
I read Twilight and New Moon quite recently and I found them both to be really enchanting.
I love the story concept, and I especially heart Edward (he is the sexx). _________________

To be honest I didn't think it was that great. . .
The writing's great, she's a really great writing but there wasn't anything really compelling about the characters or the plot in my opinion.
Ohhh... my. Wow. either I read way too much into the book (ha, punny... a pun that's funny), or you didn't notice all the ironies, allusions, etc in the books. _________________

^ I managed to catch some of the ironies, probably not all because I wasn't enjoying it much, but they just didn't strike me or anything because they weren't anything really new and spectacular. They were the same sort of ironies I'd find in any story, hell, even fanfic on occasion (the good ones, though)
But the only real problem with it is that I thought it was dull and it wasn't my sort of book =D
T_T but it says bella will have to choose between edward and jacob...? what does that even mean? I THOUGHT SHE LOVED EDWARD<33.
Well it says FRIENDSHIP with jacob. But like... I thought she wanted to be a vampy!! She'd better become one or I'll be superpissed off.
Because it's just that, in all the other vampire/human love stories I've read, it's all ended very badly BECAUSE one of them is human and will eventually die; or the vampire dies... and I just want soooo badly for Bella to become a vampy and be with edward forever and ever and ever...
xD I get too excited with books. Edward is soo sweet though... I want one xD
._. I don't like Jacob though. He's a nice guy and all... but I just don't like him. He doesn't shine out or stand out to me... AND HE'S IN THE WAY OF BELLA/EDWARD!!!
Oh my God!!! Twilight iS THE BEST!!! you have no idea how much I love these books. When my friend lent me them I read the first two in 3 days (and reread the first) then walked to the bookstore in -40 temps just to get the third.

i read twilight yesterday in a matter of like 6-ish hours, it was amazing i loved it and i loveeeeee edward.......
my friend is going to lend me new moon next week so i cant wait to read it and im very excited about the movie

omg, I'm in the midst of reading this book. My younger cousin got me hooked. It's so - in some way - relatable. Whether it's how you've felt, or how you imagine yourself feeling when you're with someone that you care about. I can't wait to finish the book, and see what's in store because so far I absolutely adore this book! _________________ < fashion 3
I wanted to read this book for the longest time and I finally did! It's pretty good, but after how everyone said it's AMAZING I guess my expectations were too high, and I didn't find it all that fabulous. But overall, I enjoyed it very much. I'm reading New Moon now! _________________

I just finished reading the first book. I got it from some friends as a gift and they gave me the impression that I was going to be all OMG THIS IS THE BEST BOOK EVER over it, but I wasn't. I liked it, and I want to read the other ones but I'm not insane about it. I didn't love Meyer's writing style, but that's just me.
I also have a feeling the movie will be better than the book, I agree with most of the actors they cast. Should be interesting.
sooo obsessed! i dont know why i didnt read this any earlier - i read the first book in two nights and ill finish the second tonight after work.... ahhh! i want edward so bad. movie comes out in december... cant wait! i like her writing style.... is it weird to say that bella kind of reminds me of myself? i think you always identify with at least one character in each book you read.
i really loved twilight and eclipse, not so much for new moon.
