| Ok, for the past couple of days my lips have felt really weird and then today I noticed that they looked really weird too. They look like pruny fingers when you have had them in the water too long. I dont know what its from, but I have these little wrinkle lines up and down my lips. Its really annoying and I am hoping its not permanent wrinkles. Anyone have any suggestions?? |

| Maybe they are just chapped from the weather changing? Do they hurt? |

| It might be because they are dehydrated. It won't be permanent if it's on the pink of your lips. Just drink lots of water and bring on the Chapstick! Oh, and DON'T LICK THEM! It'll make them worse and you'll get sores at the corners of your mouth, which are a lot harder to get rid of. |

^haha, eww
Ok thanks guys. I think it is a combination of dehydration, chapped lips, and cold weather, lol. I have been sick for like 2 weeks too, so I dont know if that has anything to do with it. ANyways, I was thinking of trying burts bees lip balm. Anyone know if it is any good, or have any other recommendations. |

I havent used the Burts Bee's but I have only heard good things about it!
When I have chapped lips I get the Blistex in the white squeeze tube. It smells and tastes like crap but your lips will look like new in two days lol |

| Yeah, just slather on some lip balm. I actually don't find that Burt's Bees works that amazingly, especially in the cold, although I love the smell and how it makes your lips tingle! My favourite is Alba Passion Fruit Nectar lip balm, it applies really well and deeply moisturizes my lips. Once they get moisturized again, the skin tends to shed so you might want to grab a soft-bristled toothbrush or a warm washcloth and gently rub your lips with it to help slew off the skin. |

| I use the Body Shop cocoa butter lip care stick. it makes your lips realllly soft. I don't know if it's the same as using chap stick/blistex though. |

My lips used to be pretty dry too, but i've started alternating between rosebud salve and Korres lip butter and they have improved ALOT. _________________

when you're at home some time, not going out anytime soon, put some honey on your lips and just leave it there. i don't know how it works, but i read it a long long time ago on the old f18 forum. i tried it and it worked.
also, just need chapstick with you at all times one in your purse, pocket, bookbag, whatever. it's cheap and it does the job. i just carry around cherry chapstick and it keeps me good. i've tried burts bees lipchap and it worked good for me. i don't think it's necessary to buy a real expensive lipchap just to get rid of chapped lips. |

Off topic warning:
When you're in water too long and it looks like your fingers and toes have shrunk and gotten wrinkley, really they have expanded. Water transfers over to the inside of your body in attempt to have the eqaul amount of water and salt in the two surfaces.
