Can anyone recommend a good tanning oil? Like the ones that make you tan faster and darker?
My whitenessosity is highly embarassing, and I'm not a very outdoorsy person, I have a strange fear of wasps/bees/stinging isects =P so i need a tanning oil to take advantage of the little time i actually spend tanning. |

nooo! the effects of tanning should be nailed in your brain by now!!!
tanning increases the risk of skin cancer... and if you put OIL ontop of that... oh mon dieu. T_T! And you can think, "oh that's not going to happen to me." but anybody can think that and it still happens!
But okay, say you don't care about skin cancer, you can't avoid that it'll make you age really fast and so you'll be tanned and wrinkly like melted rubber in the sun.
If you want that bronzy flow, try one of the lotions on the market that promises to deepen your skin colour. It started out with Jergens Glow BUT there are SO many more lotions on the market that do that now! Nivea, Dove, Olay, they've all got those kind of lotions!
practice sun safety!
xD you might be rolling your eyes at this, but i tried! _________________ [aka mitsukoshi]

ahaha, no, you're definately right...i should know better =P
every time i try a self tanner, i end up streaky though. so either i suck at putting it on, or i just haven't tried the right kind. |

ummm do you exfoliate before? because it helps~
and if you REALLY want one that badly, splurge on a spray-on tan! they're done professionally, and people are usually really happy with their results. Just ask around for recommendation o_O so you don't end up looking orange _________________ [aka mitsukoshi]

| ^^I would recommend one of the gradual ones like the moisturizer with built in bronzer. Or if you do get just plain tanning lotion, mix it with a moisturizer to get more of a healthy glow, then an unnatural tan. I would also recommend only using it like once a day or whatever the instructions say. I know a girl that uses one of the gradual glow ones, but she puts it on like 5 times a day and she looks orange. |
